Villa della Torre is a lovely Tuscan villa with 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, a beautiful garden of 500 sqm and a lovely swimming pool. It is the ideal property for tourist rentals as it is situated near Florence in the small village of Figline Valdarno.
The Figline Estate expands over approximately 140 hectares of one of the most striking areas in the Tuscan countryside : the Chianti region.
A property of the Ferragamo family, the Estate is composed of one main villa, which dates back to the Renaissance,... and six farmhouses, recently restored with utmost attention to every detail. All of the properties have been furnished with Salvatore Ferragamo fabrics, remaining faithful to the authentic style of Tuscany.
A Renaissance chapel and the farmers' crafts museum complete the Estate.
Internal Description:
Villa della Torre is an independent 15th Century villa, recently redecorated, respecting the need for practicality and comfort, it is built on two levels in addition to the tower. On the ground floor there is the large entrance with dining area, the lounge with fireplace, and a guest bathroom.
The kitchen and the breakfast room complete the ground floor. From the breakfast room there is access to the loggia, ideal for al fresco lunches and dinners.
On the first level there is: reading area, the blue double bedroom with en suite bathroom, with bathtub and walk-in closet; a yellow double bedroom with en suite bathroom, with bathtub; the twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, with bathtub.
In the tower there is a twin bedroom overlooking the Figline Estate with a spacious wardrobe and a bathroom with shower.
All the property has terracotta tiled floors, and beamed ceilings.
On the ground floor there is a residence for the gardener, note that this does not face the property in any way that might disturb the privacy of the guests.
The villa is not air conditioned because it is immersed in the nature and has old stone walls which keeps the property naturally cool.
Our Personal Opinion:
This is a nice 4 bedrooms villa located close to Florence and not far from the highway what allows the customers to move easily around the Florence and Chianti area. The villa with it's 4 bedrooms and 3,5 bathrooms is perfect for a family holiday.
The property can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday.

Weekly price: high season: 5.950,00 €, low season: 5.550,00 €.
Included in the Price: Utility bills: water, gas and electricity (up to 500 kwh per week), linens (changed twice a week) and towels (changed daily), house, swimming-pool and garden maintenance. Staff: maid for 2 hours per day, 6 days a week. Internet wi-fi, swimming-pool, baby cot and high chair on request.
Excluded from the Price: Extra cleaning on request (12,00 € per hour), electricity over 500 kwh per week, telephone, heating, extras on request (laundry, baby sitter, car with driver, catering, cooking class...).
Security Deposit: All customers must pay at the arrival a deposit of 1.000,00 € at check-in. It will be returned after check-out in full, subject to deduction for damage caused and/or payment for additional services.
The Estate is located around 1 km from the town of Figline Valdarno, where all the essential amenities (shops, banks, restaurants, post office, and hospital) can be found. The location is particularly convenient as it allows you to reach Florence in 30 minutes (28 km).
