      Relaxing, Refreshing and Fullfilling!

      We had a wonderful time at Reed's Retreat.The facility is spotless and offers everything from a a fully equiped kitchen to a chiminea for gathering around a cozy fire. Lake Canadaigua is perfect and the location of Reed's retreat couldn't be better. Easy access to retail shops but private and quiet.
      We had a mix-up with our reservation so this property wasn't the one we planned to stay in, but we were so happy with it we hope to stay again next time we visit the area.

      Simple and Easy

      Left on 03/01/2010 for a stay in September 2009

      This home was well equipped and spacious. Being close to town made trips for groceries easy. The front lawn area was great for sitting and watching sunsets by an evening fire and the water access and depth were perfect. Although we loved having a permanent (read - sturdy) dock, there was only one problem. The deck boards on the dock were a bit worn and one broken when standing upon it. FLPP maintenance came to fix it right away.

      Best house we have rented

      We return to the lake every other year, and this was by far the best house we have rented. The house was perfect for two families. It was clean, very comfortable, and the living space was very usable. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit by the edge of the lake, and the sunsets were magical! The location worked out very well for us. We enjoyed being close to town, even enjoyed walking to a concert! Definitely a great vacation house, we will return one day!

      Nice home, but be wary of smoker smell

      Great vacation home, nice location, only issue was home smelled like "smoke" even though they cleaned the property really well, there is still a lingering smoke smell which is unfortunate because otherwise, I'd rate it 5 stars...
