I rented this house for the weekend for my wife's surprise 40th birthday. It was us and three other couples. The house looks just like the pictures. There is plenty of room. It was a very quiet area when we stayed there. We felt like we were the only people at the lake. The eight of us talked about possibly renting the place every year for a weekend. The house is just beautiful!!!

I gave the value 5 stars because we paid the off-season rate. The regular season rate was twice as much and is much more than we would of paid for this rental. The location only got 4 stars because just about all of the wineries are on the other side of the lake. Staying in the house for a week were 2 children under 2 and 7 adults. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room and the house was very clean. We had a great vacation. I would definitely recommend renting a boat from Finger lakes boat rental (they have a website). Their prices are fair and their boats are in good condition.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Timber Bay. The views of the lake were breathtaking and we found it easy to relax. The house is great for multiple couples and children, we all found our own space when we needed it. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub as well. Overall, it was a wonderful place to reconnect with family.

The trip to the Finger Lakes area has always been a highlight of our yearly travels. The six of us enjoy and come to these lakes to enjoy the wine tasting and this house was one of the finest we have stayed in. Interior and exterior were modern and highly detailed with wonderful facilities throughout.
The location was a little far from most of the wineries and October temps were a bit cool for outdoor relaxing on the spacious porch, but the hot-tub was well received. -

This house was lovely: beautifully decorated, well-maintained, well-equipped and very spacious. Our extended family and friends came and went through the course of our stay and all had a terrific time. The enjoyed long, chatty dinners sitting on the wrap-around porch. Also, we were impressed when a minor problem arose with the clothes dryer and a representative of Finger Lakes Premier Properties arrived within hours to make a repair.
Our only disappointment was in the lakefront itself. It was extremely weedy, something we know is not unusual on this lake. However, it was also littered with dead fish, making it visually unappealing and, on some days, quite smelly. Our only option for swimming was to take our rental boat out into the lake and to swim from there. Sadly, this problem was significant enough that we would not rent this property again, nor recommend it to others.
