This immaculate vacation home is located in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, and it is just a short drive away from Geneva. A picturesque drive down Seneca Lake will bring you to the quaint town of Watkins Glen, where you can spend the afternoon browsing through the stores along Main Street, or enjoying a hike through the gorge at Watkins Glen State Park. The location of Maritime also makes it a great home base for those of you planning to visit Watkins Glen International Speedway, home to world class car racing events.Entry is on the northern end of the home down a brick walk, just past the garden, the entry door brings you into th...e main hallway, beautifully refinished wood floors will catch your notice immediately. Please note: all furnishings are brand new this season, this home is "up to date" comfortable, with a clean and fresh flair.To the left of the entry door is the fully stocked open kitchen and dining area which then opens onto the living room area complete with sofa and leather club chair. This entire space is lake view, and simply feels like vacation!The sliding doors in the living room lead to a large upper deck which wraps around from the rear of the home. Remember, in Finger Lakes country, the "front" of the house is always lakeside, and this home does not disappoint. Three decks, a patio table and chairs, and 100 feet of natural lakefrontage provide plenty of space to enjoy the lake view and grab that breath of fresh air you've been waiting for all winter.Off of the living room is the master suite, with queen bed, full bath and lake-view. A second queen bedroom, with all new furnishings is located on the main floor. The spacious lower level has two bedrooms: a large, lake view, tan & white bedroom with queen bed, and another lake view room with two twin beds.A full bathroom with shower/tub combo is located on the entry level floor, and a full bathroom with shower only, is located on the lower level. (The third full bath is located in the master bedroom.)Much of the furniture is new in 2007, and visiting cottagers will enjoy 108 ft. of natural beachfront, a 4X100 permanent dock, and great decks. This home is pet friendly, and your dog is welcome!

  This vacation home had the porch for reading and game playing, as well as the dock for boats - powered and not. Within biking, hiking and driving distance of wineries of every ilk. It is a very comfortable vacation place in a great location.

  Our family had a wonderful time in Maritime!

  My husband and I traveled with extended family. Maritime is very clean and up to date with new furniture and kitchenware. It had plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 teenagers. The dock is a very nice size for a boat and we enjoyed mornings to read and have our coffee and watch the ducks swim by. The kids enjoyed boating and kayaking. The pillowtop beds were really comfortable and the 3 bathrooms were a big plus. The amish markets are a short drive. The neighbors are very friendly. We felt very much at home there. We all really enjoyed ourselves and would definately recommend it to anyone.

  Nice but needs some attention

  Friendly, helpful service from the rental agency. House layout comfortable and nice for family get togethers. Large great room. Easy access to decks from multiple locations. View of the lake from the house and the dock were expansive and as advertised. Convenient location to the main highway and close proimity to many points of interest and to towns.
  
  Items of concern include:
  * linen service not at the house upon our late check-in. Agency did respond to our call and someone came about 11:00 pm with some bags of linen
  * the deck had overgrown shrubs/trees with limbs sticking into the sitting and walking areas.
  * steps to the dock were overgrown with thorny growth. Had to break/cut back for my grandchildren to be able to use for access to the dock.
  * deck surface needed cleaned
  * often had to get the neighbor's family/guests to move their cars from the home's parking area.
