My parents rented this house and invited me, my 3 siblings and our spouses/ partners (all ages 18-37, no young children). While it was more than we wanted to pay we chose this house because dogs were allowed. The house was very nice and in a convenient location, but was surrounded by home owners who didn't seem very happy to have a vacation rental in their midst. Within 10 minutes of arrival the next door neighbor came over and screamed and cursed at my youngest brother. She was upset about the previous guests and decided to take it out on us. She also proceeded to call the management company to complain though we did nothing. She called again claiming we parked in the wrong spot (we were following instructions on where to park given by the owners) and again when we were too loud during quite hours (they start at 9 PM) and all this in the first 48 hours. Management seemed more concerned with keeping the neighbor happy than making sure we enjoyed our stay and said if there was another complaint we would be kicked out with no refund. We walked on egg shells the rest of the time and stayed inside playing card games for fear of being complained about again
If you plan to stay up after 9 pm., enjoy sitting in the hot tub, have a meal or drinks on the porch, listen to music or go for a late night swim I wouldn't recommend this house. -

We had a wonderful time. The location is great. We enjoyed our wedding that much more because we had our family staying together at the house.

The house was beautiful! The view from many rooms was breathtaking. Beds were comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and easily. The kitchen had the items we needed to cook and serve food. One room had no real light and you had to walk through it to get to the downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bathroom had a toilet that clogged easily despite everyone being warned to be sensitive to the septic tank.
We would stay in this unit again. Great view, close to Geneva NY, well-equipped, nicely furnished. There was no evidence of bed bugs or pest infestations. -

Sunrise on Harmony is a beautiful property, but difficult to find if one doesn't look carefully for the access road. The house was large and bright with an amply-geared kitchen, the hot tub clean and the beds comfortable. The views of Seneca Lake were top-notch, and we appreciated having stayed at a property right on the lake. However, I do have some criticisms - the cleanliness of the property at the forefront. All of the rooms had large cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, some with dead insects trapped in them. Regarding the cathedral ceiling in the living room, I understand they may have been difficult to reach, but this is understood as a priority of maintaining a "clean" property. The carpet was in deplorable shape - large mud tracks and spills ground deeply into the fabric on almost every inch. The carpet was so dirty, none of us felt comfortable walking barefoot on it. Again, I understand that a property that hosts numerous groups throughout the year, particularly where drinking and related festivities are involved, is certain to see its share of stains; nonetheless this needs to be addressed by the property managers as it reflects poorly on the overall quality once you factor in the cost of the house per day. The shower in the upstairs bathroom had a plugged head, and so the water flowed much like it would from garden hose - straight down. The sliding shower door was mildewy with a black sludge within the door track. My other criticism is the lack of bathroom access. The downstairs bathroom is fully within the bedroom of one of the guests, making it virtually inaccessible during sleep hours for any other guests. To advertise a property as being able to fit twelve individuals misrepresents that having really only one available bathroom will create some conflicts. All in all, however, we did have a fantastic time with many memorable moments.

The only problem that I see with this house is just one bathroom. As the house can accomodate 10, it seems to us that the need for a second bathroom is essential. Otherwise it has everything for a very enjoyable vacation.

We enjoyed being all together; each with our own bedroom. Only complaint was that there wasn't a separate bathroom from the 'master'. Seemed like no privacy in there. Anmd the 2nd bath was thru another bedroom; again, no privacy.
Loved the windows and looking out on the water! Love to try it sometime in the summer - but would get another house. -

Love this place 2nd time we stayed there. Always clean, and it is convenient for our activities. Definitely would recommend! Love being on the water. Love the hottub and firepit. Would have booked again in 2010 but the price is now out of my range.
