Welcome to Sandy Escapes. We are a gay guesthouse on Fire Island Pines, a gay community off the coast of Long Island. We pride ourselves on offering extremely comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices, and look forward to welcoming you to Fire Island Pines. Our home is very modern, featuring Nordic light woods, and every conceivable amenity to make you feel right at home. A/C and flatscreen cable TV in every room. Comfortable beds. Four refrigerators and freezers stocked with food and drink. High speed internet. Landscaped deck with tropical plants and a splash pool. Spacious jacuzzi for your sore muscles (perfect for watching... the sunset.) Six washers and dryers should you need to launder your clothes. And the calming, aromatic effect of cedar wood walls. All this––a minute's walk from the beach, one of the loveliest on the Atlantic seaboard. Fire Island Pines is considered one of the preeminent, international gay destinations and we look forward to welcoming you––from New York City, or halfway across the world.

Charitable fundraisers and cocktail parties fill the Fire Island Pines€™ social calendar, with the annual “Invasion of the Pines€ event being perhaps the most notable. The Pines caters to its Manhattan weekenders and features delightful markets, boutiques and restaurants.
