“brilliant” the location is awesome, at the foot of ben nevis. the gym membership is a welcome addition, especially if you climb the hill. remote, in a good way. Not for Dog or animal lovers tho. (I'm a fan of dogs!)

About Fort William
Fort William is known as the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’ and with good reason. What To Do

If you fancy your outdoor activities slightly less perilous, then Vertical Descents outdoor activity center near the town is the place to try your hand at almost any type of water sports. During the winter months, snow sports at the Nevis Range are a must, and there are four excellent golf courses in the area if you fancy a round.
For something a little more relaxing, why not hop on board the Jacobite Steam Train for a day trip with a difference? The train crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct (made famous by the Harry Potter films) and stops off at Arisaig, home to one of the best beaches in the Highlands.
