“Wow!” I have stayed in Manish's condo four times now and love it! The location is beautiful. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you'd need from home including a closet full of fun stuff like snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets, beach gear and beach towels already there! I appreciate how well maintained and clean Manish keeps his condo! Will definitely return many more times!!

“Amazing” My wife and I used the cottage for our honeymoon. Our stay was perfect, the cottage was well located on the best side of the island with shopping, food, gas and beaches nearby. The cottage had all the appliances and amenities we needed for our week stay. There are many places to stay on the island but this cottage is amazing it is your own little place away from the bustling overcrowded homogenized resorts. Our favorite town, Hanalei, was just down the road where the views, bay, beach, shopping and eats were all top notch. Reserving and booking the cottage was a breeze with Val and Bruce, ensuring a worry free trip. I would highly recommend the cottage to any couple wanting to get away, but not be trapped in a resort! My wife and I certainly plan on visiting again. Mahalo Val and Bruce for the amazing getaway!

“Perfect House for Family Trip!” My family and I spent seven nights at the house and had a simply amazing time. The house is lovely and spacious. We had all three suites for our group of 12 (which included three children) and felt that we had plenty of room the entire time. The ambience is relaxing and the house is well cared for and well stocked with everything you need for your vacation. And you can't beat the location - just a block and a half to the beach and a few extra blocks to the shops and restaurants Hanalei. We loved every second of our time there and can't wait to go back.

“Lovely and comfortable vacation home” Beautiful, comfortable, spacious home with all that is needed for a wonderful family stay on Kauai. Generous amenities, including beach gear. Great location and quiet with lovely tropical foliage and landscaping. We enjoyed the private lanais, and appreciated having an optional enclosed outdoor shower. Listing description by owner is "spot-on". Very helpful information about the home, the area and Kauai was provided by owner. This lovely house felt like home and we can't wait to return to Kauai's north shore and stay here again.

About Kilauea

The Puna district of Hawaii's Big Island is best-known as the place to be if you want a glimpse of traditional island life. Anchored by the historic city of Pahoa, the Puna district is not overrun by tourism the way that many other parts of the Big Island are.   • Kehena Beach: A black sand beach that was once one of the district's most popular attractions is today largely a historic curiosity. In 1975, a powerful earthquake rocked the Big Island, which dropped the beach's elevation by three feet. Today, it is an excellent place to enjoy a rugged hike if you're brave enough to venture down the cliffs to the coastline and offers outstanding views of the ocean for those who aren't.
  • Isaac Hale Beach Park: This beach park is one of the most popular attractions in the district. If you're coming to the Puna district to surf, this is where you'll want to be.
  • Highway 137: Often compared to the legendary Road to Hana in Maui, Highway 137 leading into Puna is one of the most scenic drives in all of Hawaii.
  • Ahalanui Park: With swaying palms and beautiful ocean views, Ahalanui Park is the perfect place to come for some quiet, peaceful relaxation. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day in the sunshine.
  • Lava Tree State Park: A looped trail winds its way through the dense jungle, filled with rare orchids, bamboo trees and vines. Lava Tree State Park offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with Hawaii's natural splendor.
