The Lodge is blessed with the perfect location close to town and the eateries, coffee shop, boutiques and galleries of Historic Downtown but hidden in the tall pines in a setting you'd think was miles out of the way. Your family will love being close to all the amenities, yet secluded in a quiet mountain neighborhood where the homes are set on 2 - 3 acres of mature Ponderosa Pine. You'll enjoy walking the neighborhood and the trails close by, watching dear and elk and the sunset from the deck. In winter the property affords great sledding.

Lone Elk Lodge is very comfortable and tasteful furnished. The Kitchen and the bathrooms are well equipped. The house is surrounded with trees and the view from the big veranda is marvellous - our days there were absolutely relaxing and restful. At any time I would come back and stay there - as long as possible. And if you want to see real Elks, it's the right place...

Our family loved our stay at Lone Elk Lodge .
We feel it is the perfect holiday vacation home ,with that warm cosy mountain lodge atmosphere.(coming from Hawaii we really appreciated this)
We absolutely loved watching the deer and other wonderful wildlife from the comfort of the house.
The kitchen was well equipped (I cooked a whole Thanksgiving dinner there)
The rooms were all clean and comfortable,the decor tasteful and the service excellent.
We particularly enjoyed the fireplace and sitting area around it.The massive deck affords a fantastic view of the mountains and surrounding pine trees,and there are many nice areas to just relax in.
We were able to visit the Grand Canyon for the first time during our stay.The Lodge being situated within easy access to the town centre of Flagstaff, which we love for it's historic buildings,friendliness and active nightlife,makes it very convenient.
We will definitely be back!
