Phoenix, AZComfortable & Cozy Getaway
Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We stayed for 3 nights in this quiet condo. It is a cozy condo with a bedroom on the first level, a kitchen and living space on the second, and a loft with 2 twin's on the third level with a half bath up there. There are a lot of stairs. The decor is somewhat outdated but it is all clean. We took advantage of the wood burning fireplace, full outdoor deck, equipped kitchen and washer dryer. Since we were skiing, it was a bit out of the way but not ridiculous. It's about 10 minutes from the main eating areas downtown and about 30 minutes to get to the top of the mountain for skiing. The neighborhood community is beautiful and quiet with lots of places to walk/hike. It's a very safe location. We will stay again on our next annual visit to Flagstaff.

pets are allowed in this property. there was dog hair all over the home. we do not have pets, so, we were not used to seeing pet hair on bed spread, sofa, etc.
this is a one bedroom and a loft, not two bedrooms. suitable for a family of 3 or 4 max. loft has two single beds and a half bath upstairs. One of the dining table chairs was broken. -

Scottsdale, AZWonderful place to stay in Flagstaff!

Loved the location of this rental. Close to hiking trails, walks around the man made small lake, oven area provided great views, close to mall and grocery stores. Everything you could have wanted was provided in unit and very comfortable. Have stayed in this unit multiple trips and will continue to make this our Flagstaff temporary home.

We go to Flagstaff on an annual basis to visit my son for family weekend at NaU. Usually we get a hotel but decided this year to opt for a rental. We were absolutely thrilled with Willow Pond Retreat. It was a short drive to any NaU activities, and it was far enough away that we didn't have to deal with the traffic for that weekend. It was quiet and being able to cook our own meals was worth it. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities, and the grocery store was super close. We brought our two younger kids as well and they stayed in the loft area. My college son actually slept on the couch one night and enjoyed the quiet retreat away from the dorm room for a night. We really enjoyed it and will use it again when we visit next year.
