Description from the owner

Enjoy a comfortable cottage in the shade of the Flagstaff pines. Relax on two porches and a flagstone patio - great relief from Arizona's summer heat. Enjoy a game of horseshoes out back in the big fenced yard. Your dog(s) are welcome there too and will enjoy laying about in the native landscaping.

      Cozy and comfortable!

Left on 12/02/2012 for a stay in November 2012

We had three adults and 4 kids ranging from 2 to 16--everyone loved the house and had a great time. It's a great base for exploring northern arizona--if you're in the mood to do that, you can spend your days checking out the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, and lots of other great sites. In the evening you can head to a Flagstaff restaurant, or just go back and fix dinner at home in the very well-equipped kitchen. This is not your standard sterile vacation rental! It really does feel as if you're staying at the house of a friend who's away for the weekend. We especially loved building a fire in the wood burning stove, then hanging out in front of the fire playing the board games or exploring Tim's book and CD collections. We hope to go back sometime with just our immediate family to hang out and relax for a few days.

      Just Perfect !!!

Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in February 2012

My youngest son moved to Phoenix last august for a job change. As a dual vacation/reunion, the rest of us (Detroit, Los angeles, Ann arbor) all met there and drove to the Grand Canyon for a long weekend. The house in Flagstaff worked out just great. Three bedrooms, large dining room (great for euchre) fireplace, etc. The house was very clean, perfect for our group, and I would highly reccommend it to anyone!!!
(oh, and by the way,Tim was great to work with)

      Our Flagstaff Snow Weekend

Left on 01/28/2011 for a stay in January 2011

It's kind of a tradition of ours to take our son to Flagstaff for his birthday weekend, and this year we decided to find a house instead of going to a hotel. We are Sooo very happy with our decision! This place is so perfect... as soon as you walk in it feels like you're in your own home. It's very comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc... you name it, it's here (I spent a lot of time in the kitchen, so that's why I remember that the most!) - - as for the guys, they all played out in the backyard for hours, having snowball fights, building forts, and who knows what else. Inside meanwhile, I was nice and warm and comfy while I listened to some of the great cd's and music dvd's that were available. Awesome place, great memories and we definitely plan to visit again next winter. Who knows, maybe we'll visit in the summer too!

      Outstanding stay at Tim's place

Left on 12/09/2010 for a stay in November 2010

Our stay at Tim's place this last Thanksgiving was outstanding, all the comforts of home in a very warm and relaxing living space. While the temperature hovered near zero outside, we stayed cozy with just a modest fire in the wood-burning stove. And the challenge of cooking T-day dinner was eased by the well-stocked kitchen and full compliment of modern appliances. The dogs appreciated the large fenced backyard but the snow and cold seriously diminished the draw of the horseshoe pits (next summer for sure). I have no hesitation in recommending Tim's place to any and all who want to breath in some northern arizona high-country.
