Mahogany was a great experience. Fully equipped. The view of the sea was spectacular from the from every room in the house including the deck. The plunge pool was great. Easy access to Flamans Beach. Definitely need a car to get around the island. - Steve J., California, USA

Mahogany was a great experience. Fully equipped. The view of the sea was spectacular from the from every room in the house including the deck. The plunge pool was great. Easy access to Flamans Beach. Definitely need a car to get around the island.

Our stay at Mahogany was fun and it is a cute little villa. That being said, I do think the pictures on the Luxury Retreats website were misleading. For instance, you can't tell from the pictures that the downstairs, where you sleep, is not connected to the upstairs. So you have to go outside to get upstairs. Also, there is no air conditioning upstairs, which is where the living room and kitchen are. There is only air conditioning downstairs in the bedroom, and it is not very strong. It was okay to sleep, but it had to be on full blast and you have to leave the blinds closed all day so it does not get too hot. The pictures are also misleading because the villa itself has way more "stuff" in real life. There are magazines, nick nacks, and other assorted stuff all over the place. One other thing that they don't mention is that the driveway to the villa is an incredibly steep incline that make it incredibly difficult to park. We could not even drive up the driveway because we did not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, so we parked at the bottom and walked up the super steep incline. Also, the "king" bed is really two twin beds pushed together. They use king sheets so you won't fall between the beds or anything, but you can feel the separation in the middle. Those are the main things that took me by surprise because I was not expecting them, but other than that it was a cute rental and St. Barts was a fun adventure.

we had a wonderful vacation in st bart one of the best vacations ever I loved the villa even the roosters and the barking dogs because I felt that I was in a neighborhood and it wanst at all touristy... the beaches were gorgeous we had a great snorkelling day with Didier and his dog Cookie they took us out one afternoon. we enjoyed getting up early to see the fishermen come in with their catch and one day we bought fresh Mahi Mahi to cook at home I came home so relaxed and refreshed also we enjoyed going to a patisserie each morning for coffee and a pastry....

We enjoyed our stay at Mahogany Villa. The common areas are spacious and it\'s great to be able to make dinner,sit out on the veranda with cocktails and watch the sunset. We were only 2 blocks from the most beautiful beach. Truely a delightful stay.

All was perfect except that we had to leave - wish we had another week in paradise. The villa could not have been better - it was everthing we expected from the pictures and descriptions.

villa was very clean. the pillows on the beds were very flat and uncomfortable so we needed to take all the pillows from the other bedroom to make it comfortable. View was great. people at ici and la were very nice...Fred and girls in the office. Christiana the cleaning woman was very nice and did a great job. The wine you left in the fridge for us was delicious and the fresh flowers put in the villa was a nice touch.

It was honestly fantastic. My expectations were very high for the vacation going in and was still positively surprised by the the island, the scenery and Mahogeny. Everything went smoothly - only hard part was coming home. Thanks for all your and Marianne\'s help-you both were great!\n

Beautiful escape in a great location. We ran into trouble with our airline, and Luxury Retreats was greatly accommodating in getting us situated on our changing timeline.

A wonderful holiday, my wife and I celebrated our 50th birthdays and our 30th wedding anniversary. It was our first visit to St Barts and plan many more.
