We loved staying at this cottage. It felt like our home away from home. We will be back next year to feed the goats, horse and donkey. Season's restaurant was wonderful place to dine and so convenient.

We very much loved our stay Highland Lake Properties. We rented several homes from him for our Cast & Crew of our film project the healer and everyone was so happy with their homes and the hospitality the company showed them. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and a great retreat after a long day of shooting. We highly recommend this company and their various of homes to anyone looking for a place to stay in North Carolina whether they be associated with a film group or just tourists stopping by to take in the beautiful sites.

This is our second year to stay in the same cabin. We enjoy the quiet, the beauty of the trees, plants, and lake, and the closeness to our grandchildren. The front porch and the sun deck were used every day, and the comforts of home were right at our fingertips. It was a great week, and we look forward to coming again.
