This Historic Poolside Cottage was originally one of the officers' quarters for the Carolina Military and Naval Academy. Since 1985, it have served as "home away from home" for families visiting Highland Lake Inn. This spacious 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom home has been lovingly restored and updated with all modern conveniences, while maintaining its historic charm. Periwinkle is pet friendly!

We are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. A historic North Carolina resort, Highland Lake Inn rests in a country setting of 26 gently wooded acres on a serene lake, just 25 minutes from Asheville, NC, the Biltmore Estate, and five minutes outside of Hendersonville in historic Flat Rock, NC.
