My family had a great time staying at Morning Glory!! We found it to meet our wants and needs completely. The cottage was very attractive and the two bedrooms and two baths were just the right size for us. We also enjoyed the goats and sheep outside our door!! One day the man who cares for them stopped by to talk to us and we thought he was very informative.
The location of Highland Lake was perfect for our visit...midway between Tryon and Brevard where we were visiting family. I would definitely stay there again when we are in North Carolina next. Thank you for a most pleasant stay and for the ease in making those arrangements.

Our 4 night stay was lovely--the house is very comfortable, the grounds lovely to stroll around, and we didn't have time to use the amenities, though the restaurant has been good in past years. I like hearing the peacock and goat kids best of all!

Sweet Little Glade

Loved this cluster of cottages in a sweet little glade. Very comfortable, updated, and clean. Rocking chair out front, easy to walk the 'neighborhood', and loved the roaming peacocks - every day, amazed at how the solid white peacock ended 50ft up in a pine tree. Easy access, and visitor privileges at fitness club a nice touch. Perfect place when visiting Flat Rock.

Our extended family of 11 people visited for a birthday and Thanksgiving celebration. We had a wonderful time! The property was so beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here. You feel like you are in the country but you can get to a grocery store or shopping within a few minutes. Best of both worlds. And we love the animals! Service was great too. If we needed anything, they were very quick to respond. Thanks for a great trip!

We used Highland Lake Properties for our wedding weekend and everything about it was delightful! This home was wonderful and Steve was great to work with. I would absolutely stay here again.

A sweet pristine cottage, with a great little floor plan to comfortably accommodate parents plus three teens! Easily accessible to restaurants of Flat Rock and Hendersonville, yet tucked away in a tranquil setting. Loved the entire property set-up. Rocking chairs, swings, and peacocks in the trees! We'll be back. Thanks, Steve! ...and a shout out to Flat Rock Fitness & Flat Rock Wood Room.

Very clean and well built condo. Everything needed for a long stay was in place. If you are in the area specifically to Mountain bike, it's not super convenient. Still a great option.
Great weekend, lovely location, perfect house for a family of 5!

We had a great weekend and will return again to Highland Lake properties in the near future. It is a beautiful location, wonderful for children, and makes seeing local sites easy from its accses to asheville, Hendersonville, and Flat Rock. Our one and only concern is that the kitchen in Morning Glory had a bit of an ant infestation (the small sugar ants) which would be easy enough to spray for.
We had an excellent time

The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Check in and out was quick and efficient. It was very quiet and relaxing. At the lake, canoes, kayaks and paddleboats were available free of charge. A nice golf course was across the road. An excellent restaurant was on the grounds.
Wonderful Cabin in the Mountains

Morning Glory cabin was a great option for our family trip because it is in a glorius mountain setting and also accommodated the five of us much better than a hotel. The Highland Lake development has many amenities like a great restaurant, lake activities, pool, tennis and farm-like atmosphere. The reservation was very easy to coordinate and the fully outfitted cabin very clean. We will be back. Thanks so much.

I loved this place. It felt so much like a home away from home...with more peace and nature and easy living. The neighborhood has so many places to walk and explore and it was just as easy to sit and look out the window. Very comfortable beds and furniture, and all the comforts we needed during our stay.

We loved staying in Morning Glory. The cozy living room w/ fireplace was perfect for romantic evenings. We spent the mornings on the porch overlooking the pasture and the afternoons exploring. A wonderful location and idyllic setting. We highly recommend Morning Glory-spacious & comfortable.
