Have been coming to highland lake for 13 years! Great place for all ages. Activities on the property, beautiful grounds and great food. What more could you ask for? Wisteria is a great cottage- one of the larger ones.

The Highland Lake Resort is quaint and beautiful, and they were very accommodating. When we arrived we realized that the cabin we rented did not have exactly the setup we required, and we were quickly moved without any increase in price. Restaurant is great and everyone is extremely helpful. Great place to stay in the mountains.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Loved waking up to the peacock in the window boxes and the goats out the back door. We day tripped for horseback riding in asheville.
The house was cozy and comfortable.
