Th service was delivered as promised. We liked the home very much. The location was excellent, as we were using the Sanctuary in the Pines, within easy walking distance. The setting and beauty of the surroundings was peaceful and quiet. More cookware in the kitchen would have helped a lot.

The house was very nice and charming. It was basically clean with the acception of a few things that I will mention. The kitchen floors needed to be mopped again. Several corners in the kitchen had crumbs (where ants were grouping) and spiders/cobwebs. This was not from between cleanings. It was not properly cleaned from last rent. The table at the front door had something like spilled coffee- syrupy spills on it that did not get wiped off. So, now to the ant problem in the kitchen that we encountered when we arrived, which had a very negative impact on the whole weekend. There were soo... many ants that we could not store any of our food in the kitchen. We had to put everything on the dining room table. Dishes that we washed and put in the sink drainer got covered with ants over night. So, we used the dish washer for storage, so we could close it up and ants not get on everything. I immediately called Steve Collins and he offered to spray, but I have a sensitivity to that stuff, so I suggested something the Terro. I also told him about the others areas and he had cleaning - Tabitha - come right over to take care of it. Management put out a liquid ant killer ( Terro) per my request. However, there were so many that was not a sufficient amount. So, we had to make a trip to the hardware store to get more ant killer. Management never followed up with us to ask if the ant killer helped or if there was anything else they could do. Needless to say, considering the rate I paid for the house (250.00), all this should not have occurred. I considered asking Steve for a discount, but never pursued it, which I still think should still be addressed.
