My wife and I spent a weekend away from the city here and wished we could have stayed all week. The place is easy to get to and once you're there does not disappoint. Nestled atop a woodsy peak, the views are truly spectacular. We were completely taken care of and the transaction was quick, easy and pleasant to say the least. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed with a group of friends Memorial Day Weekend 2012 and could not have had a better time. The owner of the house, Dana, is a pleasure to deal with, extremely professional yet also very friendly and accommodating. The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures and very much lives up to the hype. It's a real bargain and a great place to bring a group of friends to get away from New York City for the weekend. We're already planning our next trip back!

Stayed in the house in Dec 2011. Great place to stay with a family and friends. The house has plenty of room, great location, secluded, 5 minutes away from Belleayre, the views are absolutelly breathtaking. Warm and comfortable. The owner and the property manager are extremely nice, overall I think it's the best value you can find. Can't wait to come back, praying for some snow!

We dubbed the place our Forrest Mansion. It is huge and sits on a mountain top with gorgeous views. The place smelled wonderful, like country air and fireplace. We felt at home right away. We really loved the stay and will be back. The people who took care of our reservation couldn't have been nicer or more likable. I recommend bringing friends and family. -

I stayed here with a group of friends, and we had a great time. It's got tons of space, great hiking and really amazing views. We spent most of our time on the back porch taking in the mountain scenery with drinks in hand. A grill in the backyard made for good cookouts. The kitchen is a little bit dated, but it's got everything you need. Don't really have anything bad to say about the place -- we're already planning to head back next year and maybe for ski season at Belleayre.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have visited this house together. We love going up to Pine Hill for long weekends and staying here. It's spacious, feels very private, and has great views. There are good places to hike right nearby. I highly recommend staying here.

The Doc Maker
Brooklyn, NYCool House with Lots of Room
Left on 08/20/2011 for a stay in November 2010
My partner and I went with two writing colleagues for a week and had a great, great time. The house was super clean and gave us plenty of choices as where to hang out. We all needed creative space and this house gave it to us. We took side trips on 2 or 3 days to see the area and stumbled upon an excellent yard sale. We liked the house so much that my partner and I went back in the spring with different friends. We met the owner back in Manhattan and she was easy to work with and fun. I would like to use the house longer when we edit our documentary. It's an excellent value and we are struggling young film makers.

New York CityWe had a great time in the perfect house.
Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in October 2010
My friends and I really enjoyed our long weekend last October and hope to mesh our schedules and go again this fall. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. We took a chairlift ride at Belleaire/Belleayre and loved seeing all the beautiful fire, the changing of the leaves. I took my dog and he seemed to enjoy "having a yard" and room to run inside. Taking him saved me $50 a night boarding. Oh, yes we used the fire pit and that was fun, too
