Thank you for offering such a lovely space where all the conveniences were plentiful so well thought out. No detail was left out.
We were a group of 18 for a weekend retreat. Fourteen stayed in the house creating the most peaceful, joyful time of our lives. The living room offered us a window on the nature right outside as we gathered in circle. The outside seating areas and grounds that tumbled out to the stream, complete with a fire circle, in which to gather for ceremony of appreciation expanded our sense of space. A walk to the waterfall provided the adventure and the opportunity for quiet contemplation.
The well equipped kitchen with plenty of space for creating group meals coupled by ample space for outdoor meals under the covered porch provided the glue to an already magical weekend of memory making. The house served as the backdrop for community building at its finest.

We loved this home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in NC. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and everything we needed for cooking. Also, it was nice to have a gas grill on the deck.
We had a 2 year old, 2 teenage boys and 4 adults; there was plenty of room for all and we had a wonderful time together.
It was nice to have the master bedroom and bath on the main floor with an additional bedroom/bathroom on lower level that included a walk out to the back yard. The children enjoyed the yard and spent some time exploring the woods surrounding the house.
The location is good depending on the objective of the stay. It's only about 20 minutes from downtown asheville and 20 to 30 minutes from several hiking trails. Nothing is within walking distance, but it's peaceful and a beautiful location.

It is, like you said, the perfect place for a family to spend quality time together in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thanks for pointing out a few reasons why staying at a vacation rental is preferable to staying at a hotel: there's room enough for a large group with some bonus privacy, a fully equipped kitchen to cook homestyle meals, back yard fun with a grill, fire pit, and playground, and convenience to Asheville, yet it's remote enough to get a true mountain experience. Everything was nice and clean. Even had everthing we could possibly need and more. Even the hammock was great. While lying there you could listen to the stream in the background. It was a lot of fun. The women in the group was amazed at what we had access to.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds, foosball, pool table, creek and playground. The adults loved the spacious rooms, fully stocked kitchen, fire pit and lots of areas to relax. It was great!

The house was wonderful, the area was beautiful. The only downside was being a bit off the beaten path, but we had a wonderful time even so.
