Included in the price: utility bills for rentals up to 60 days, final cleaning, condo expenses and taxes
Excluded from the price: utility bills for rentals over 60 days (charges based on meter readings); contract registration fee for rentals over 30 days. The contract is in Italian and the fee is equal to 1% of the total rental price (with the minimum fee being 33,50€) plus 30,00€ for revenue stamps.
Security Deposit:

This is a very nice apartment, in a beautiful historic building very near to the major landmarks in Florence. It's spacious and well-outfitted. Our only complaints are as follows. The air conditioning in the third bedroom (on the top floor) doesn't really work. Florence was particularly hot while we were there, but even in regular summer weather, I don't think it would be comfortable to sleep in that room. The a/c works very well in the two bedrooms on the main floor of the apartment. In the end, we put our two kids in one of those bedrooms and we slept in the other, leaving the third bedroom empty. Fortunately, we didn't absolutely need the space, but if you need all three bedrooms, anyone sleeping in that room will be very, very hot. In addition, it seems that the tenants before us broke the handle of the washing machine. The repairs were not completed during our time there, so we had no way to wash clothes. We'd been counting on that when we packed and again, given how hot it was, things were getting a little sketchy by the end of our stay.
We attempted to contact Windows on Italy about both of these issues within 24 hours of our arrival but received no response.

The apartment was beautiful. Everyone I worked with regarding reservations and check-in were friendly and professional.
There was a major problem with the mosquitoes in apartment. We did complain about the mosquito situation, however there was no response or remedy. We could no stay at this apartment again because of the mosquito problem - many of us had several bites and sleeping was unpleasant because of the mosquitoes. Closing the windows at night was not possible because the air-conditioning was not adequate. If not for this problem, everything would have been perfect. I would not recommend this apartment in the Summer unless the air-conditioning is fixed.Response from Windows on Italy - 10/27/2011

I am sorry to hear about your problems with the air conditioning but you did not inform us of this problem until 25/07/2011 at 8.14pm, the night before you left. We have no record of any complaints until that email was received, so as you can see there was little we could do to help you if throughout your stay you did not inform us of these problems. If you had informed us about the air conditioning as soon as you noticed the problem then we would have recitifed it for you. We would also have bought over more insect and mosquito repellent even though the apartments are stocked with the little plug in machines in the bedrooms if we had of known that this was a problem for you. Mosquitoes are not a problem because of this single apartment but of the city in general. Mosquitoes like water and since there is a big river in Florence city centre, the mosquito problem in Florence is quite well known and is mentioned in many guide books. Thanks

The balcony sold this property. A beautiful view and comfortable. It was reasonably clean. One significant drawback is the noise from the bar under master suite. It lasted from 11:00P to past 2:00am every night.

this is a fantastic apartment
the roof terrace is huge and offers views of both the duomo and santa croce
the apartment is set just a little way out of the centre of florence so it feels very calm and quiet.
it is at the top of an old immaculate palaccio.

The organization has been efficient, precise and friendly. The information received were clear and detailed and helped to face traffic problems and Florence ZTL and to reach the flat very easily. The house was perfectly alligned with the internet description and pictures.
The flat was clean and provided with everything you could need. We appreciate very much the idea of a food welcome with pasta, oil, tomato and coffee ready to survive for the first lunch!! The location is very convenient since it so near to every important monument you would like to visit that you can just reach on foot.
But the most appreciate aspect is undoubted the wonderful terrace. In conclusion, we had the possibility to combine everybody desire: my parents can rest in the terrace and enjoy Florence view and my daughter can walk and visit the museums!Response from Windows on Italy - 09/08/2011

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiesole and would definitely come back in the future. The building is magnificent, the views from the large roof terrace superb, and the location very central. It was also well-managed, clean and well equipped. Nice food shops nearby as well.
The only complaint was that the taxi firms listed in the folder were disappointing - one hung up and the other failed to show up when we needed to get to the airport.Response from Windows on Italy - 08/25/2011

The pictures don't lie for this apartment. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Best of all is a huge private terrace with views of Duomo and Santa Croce. Great place, but we wanted to sweep--where are the brooms?

This apartment has a fantastic terrace with views of the Duomo and Santa Croce and more. We loved having dinner outdoors, watching the sun set over Florence, hearing the bells ringing in the evenings, and just taking it all in. Windows on Italy is very helpful and always extremely pleasant to work with. The restaurant and pizzeria downstairs are both excellent too, and very convenient! We booked this apartment originally based on another trip advisor review (thank you!) and we have now stayed in the Fiesole apartment twice.

This is the Big Brother to the Torre Suite. Both on the same road, and both in the heart of Florence with Magnificent roof-top access. Fiesole is a wonderful, safe, central apartment to have in the center of Florence. Just round the corner from La Giostra, one of the great restaurants, and up the street from the over-rated aqua Due. A stones throw from Piazza Signoria too. Elevator to the door, and your staying in a wonderful old building. There is even a restaurant at the bottom of the building, out on the side-walk. Great for two couples, but can manage three at a pinch. Just do it!!! (Water pressure is good here too!!!)

It was hard to get luggage up to apartment because the lift is quite small.The lighting on the terrace is not sufficient at night for dining out.

A centrally located apartment, the Fiesole is only a few minutes walk to the museums, piazzas, and restaurants. Take the elevator to the 5th floor and open the door to a beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished home. The private terrace offers a spectacular view of Florence. The kitchen, with a skylight and dining table, is well-quipped if one chooses to cook. Internet service is available and a snap to connect. Check-in and check-out was easy and smooth. Fiesole is a gem.

We had a very positive experience at Feosole CAV. The location is perfect. The apartment was very neat. The decoration was excellent and the service was supererb. Mr. Alexxandra was very helpful and arranged the Taxi for us for going to the airport at 4:30 AM.
We will highly recommend this place to everyone.

This is our second stay with Windows on Tuscany and both have been great.
First time was in Torre Suite which is modern, clean and one modern Bed/Bath with Fabulous roof terrace. This last trip the Torre was taken so we booked the Fiesole CAV, and this was even nicer. Both are on the Via Vigna Vecchia, but the Fiesole has a great restaurant at the bottom of the stairs/elevator. The people who look after these apartments do a great job of keeping them clean, and are very helpful. There is also a very informative booklet that gives all info needed for a great stay. We will stay in one of their apartments on our next visit, without doubt, and highly reco0mmend the experience. I also recommend the location of these two apartments.
