The apartment is on the first floor (no lift); it is spacious (8o m2) and accommodates 2 \6 people: 2 bedrooms,livingroom,kitchen,a bathroom with shower,a large terrace,air conditioning,TV.private parking (extra).

Muy vecina, la vía Gioberti y su animación: tiendas de todo tipo, supermercados, almacenes, bares,
restaurantes, pizzerias, heladerías, bancos, correo, farmacia.
El autobus (numero 6) se para enfrente del pórtico a la ida y al regreso y en un cuarto de hora Les conduce al centro de Florencia y a la estación central de Santa Maria Novella.

The apartment is truly beautiful as well as it's surroundings! The interior is completely renovated with new furnishings. The balconies have a lovely view of the homes around. The neighborhood is quiet and is in a completely central location.
Most of all Mr. Maurri is a wonderful host and his English is pretty good too! :-)
I can't wait to return!!! -

I am glad to be the first one to write a review for this place. We were a little worried booking the place because of there being no reviews, but it was by far the most comfortable place we stayed at while in Italy. The first thing we liked about the place was the sense of security. It is in its own private driveway gaurded by an automatic gate. We buzzed in at the front gate when we arrived and Roberto, the owner of the place let us in and greeted us. He was a very nice man, spoke good English and was very helpful if we needed anything. He opened the door to our apartment and wow it was beautiful. It has brand new everything, nice tiled floors, and two private decks for eating and sunbathing. There is a nice sized kitchen with everything you need, two good sized bedrooms with the most comfortable beds in Italy, and a decent sized bathroom (although shower is very small). It has air conditioning that works very well, although we did not have a need to use it. It says it can fit up to 7 people, but I would say 4 is the most comfortable. It has 4 single beds, and any extra people would have to sleep on a futon in tightly spaced living room (would probably be ok for kids). The apartment is just minutes from a main street that has some good restaurants and shops on it (just a warning though, you are not in the middle of a tourist place so study your italian because noone here speaks a lick of english. Also since it is not touristy all shops and restaurants here are closed from 3pm - 7pm). There were only two slight negatives to this place. Its location to the heart of the city if farther than we thought. It does list right in the description that it is a good 20 minute walk, which when you are walking it through tiny little crowded streets seems like much more. However, if you are up for taking the bus there is a bus stop right outside the front gate that costs only 1.20 euros a person, comes very frequently and will take you anywhere you want to go. The other negative would be that Roberto, while very friendly and helpful, lives on the floor above you and can be a bit noisy while walking around.
I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a very affordable, relaxing place to stay in Florence. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here.
