This spacious and bright three bedroom apartment in Florence is located just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery and Piazza Santa Croce. Situated across the road from the Arno River in a small piazza and facing into a pretty internal courtyard, it is private and tranquil and can sleep up to 8 people.
This large holiday apartment, located on the third floor (without elevator), enters into a corridor: on your right there is a fully equipped kitchen, including laundry facilities, and on your left there is the large and luminous lounge, overlooking the peaceful garden courtyard and furnished with a sofa, TV and dining area.

Checking in with Cesario was easy and pleasant. Great and quiet location. No lift but it was not difficult to walk up the stairs. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Thanks for the bottle of wine to welcome us even though we were too busy to drink it. Two minor problems: washer machine needing repair--our clothes were soaking wet. Request for extra pillows was ignored.

As a group of 5, we needed a bit of space and found this apartment perfect. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed, including a hairdryer! Our only minor struggle was that the kitchen is small making cooking for five a bit challenging.
The location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore Florence, a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio/Ufizzi Gallery and Santa Croce, as well as excellent gelateria only one street away. We walked everywhere with no trouble at all.
We were welcomed by a Florence apartments representative who was very helpful and gave us a few pointers on where to eat out and where to find good value shopping. All recommendations worked out brilliantly.
All in all, a very positive experience! -

Apartment is great. We (3 couples) stayed for a night. Very clean, good size bathrooms, peaceful courtyard view, bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. Kitchen a bit small but well appointed. One couple slept on the comfy pull-out sofa since the third room only has 1 single bed.
Company was very nice to work with. Neighborhood has more residential feel and less touristy. Close to sights near the arno (Uffizzi, Ponte Vecchio, Oltrarno, etc)Response from Apartments Florence - 08/23/2012

Very pleasant apartment, well cared for, perfect location. It is easy to purchase very good quality food around the corner to prepare meals in the apartment. There are also many local restaurants to choose from. It's very easy to walk to all the sites yet nice and quiet. The courtyard in the center adds a very nice touch for a view and trees in an otherwise urban setting.

I stayed at Via Malenchini 3 bedroom apartment Oct 2011. The location was
excellent, the cost was extremely reasonable, & it was quiet.
The apartment was clean and well maintained. There are several flights of
stairs to climb which is a great way to work off the gelato. The only
problem were the mosquitoes which was remedied with keeping the windows
closed and using the provided plug in repellents. It may have been due to

We a group of 6 stayed at Via Malenchini 1 apartment 3b in September for 11 nights. The apartment is on the 3rd floor so getting your luggage up and down was a challenge but it was worth it. The apartment is large and bright with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It suited our needs perfectly. Its in an excellent location (less than a block from the arno River between the Ponte Vecchio and the Ponte Grazie bridges). Its close to the Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. It was about a 20 minute walk to the train station or 2 blocks from the closest bus stop which could also take you there if you didn't want to walk.
The staff from apartments Florence were very helpful and provided lots of useful information on the area. They were quick to meet us at the apartment when we arrived and check out was quick as well.
I would recommend this apartment (as long as you are able to climb the stairs) and would recommend apartments Florence to anyone.

We were initially scheduled to stay in a different apartment. A few days prior to our trip the rental company informed us that they had double-booked apartments and would offer us this one instead.
This apartment was large with three bedrooms, two baths, a large family room/eating area and high ceilings. It was centrally located and close to the Uffizi. It was bright and overlooked a quiet courtyard. The size was definitely a great asset. It gave our family of five with three children (10, 7, and 5) a chance for some down/alone time.
A rep from the rental company met us and gave us information about the apartment as well as places to eat which was helpful. There was a brand new dishwasher and linens in all of the bedrooms. We were the first people to stay in the apartment. It seemed like there were personal belongings still in the apartment which was odd.
The washing machine was not working and the rental company sent someone out within a few hours to correct the problem which we appreciated.
This apartment has so much potential to be great. However, it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and some updates need to be made (including the bathrooms and much of the furniture).Response from Apartments Florence - 05/24/2011
