BrisbaneModern apartment in great location - fantastic views!
Left on 10/17/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed at Via Sant'Antonino for 4 nights in early October. The location is fantastic with markets and all the major attractions right at your doorstep. There are many stairs to the apartment, but we had 2 young children with us (ages 8 and 11) and they weren't a problem - just a novelty. The view from the rooftop is well worth the climb!
The apartment is very modern and Michele was very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment for people wanting to explore Florence - or just sit back and soak up the view!

Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
we were a family of six looking for a larger apartment in the centre of Firenze. there are not many of these and it took us a while to find this apartment. we were not disappointed. do not hesitate to book this apartment.
we arrived by rail and the apartment was a very easy walk (even with four children in tow). we were greeted by Michele who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the city and the area.
the apartment is on two levels with two glorious rooftop terraces. we had panoramic views of the city and it felt as if we could reach out and touch the Duomo and Medici Capella. the decor is modern and the apartment is very spacious. unlike many city centre apartments, it was a great place to spend time and escape the city heat. if you want to cook; where better to stay for ingredients and a great kitchen? we also discovered some great restaurants just on the doorstep.
the location is great for the foodmarket, and within easy walking distance of all things you might want to visit. a washing machine (with some washing tablets!) was very welcome.
we could not have wished for a better place to stay. thank you for letting us use your apartment Michele and see you next year.

EnglandAn apartment with a View...
Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in April 2012
A superb apartment in a great location, with many treasures right on the doorstep, San Lorenzo, the Medici Chapel, great little family restaurants, cafes, bakeries, delecatessens and the best cantuccini in Florence (if not Italy) in the same street!
We stayed here with our two teenagers 13 and 19 in april, we had mixed weather, but whether or not the sun shone the rooftop eyrie was glorious, up with the Gods amongst the domes and spires of this enchanting city with the Tuscan hills as a backdrop, what more could you ask for? Magical sights and sounds, the bells of Florence taking turns to ring the hour, whilst tucking into delicious al fresco lunch from the excellent nearby mercato centrale.
The apartment is well laid out with bedrooms on the lower floor and kitchen / living areas on top, and well designed with many thoughtful touches to enjoy. Ok there are a lot of stairs, but the air-con and the view are ample consolation if you are fit enough (or need the exercise enough). All in all, an ideal base in this wonderful city.Response from Apartments Florence - 08/23/2012

Left on 07/22/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Michele, was a great host. He had all of the pertinent information listed in a folder in the apartment as well as books on the area. The apartment is in a great location, very near the train station and the Duomo and just up the street from the market. The apartment is beautiful, with two great terraces that overlook the Duomo dome as well as another chapel dome. The only downfall was the stairs, but I just decided since I had burned all of those extra calories, that I could have dessert each night!!

Left on 06/10/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Booked this apartment based on reviews and pictures on Tripadvisor. We were 4 adults and 2 children and stayed for a week in april 2012. It was exactly as advertised. The views from the 2 balconies were amazing! The adults would congregate there with their morning coffees just drinking in the views and watching people go about their daily routines. Having the market right around the corner was very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole apartment was modern, bright and airy. The glass stairs took some getting used to, but it was a very nice touch to the design. The trip was a mix of shopping, sightseeing and eating so it was lovely at the end of the day to come home to the apartment along Sant'Antonino and rest our legs and feet (and dump shopping bags) before going out to explore dinner options. The area also felt safe walking around at night. The nearest pick up point for transport was 2 blocks away near the train station, which considering you are in the center of Florence, isn't all that bad.

My family of 4 recently stayed at the 3 bedroom in San Lorenzo on Via
Sant'Antonino. This is a stunning bi-level apartment with 2 roof top
terraces. It is very comfortable and well equipped. The owner Michele could
not be nicer. The location is fantastic - within 10-15 minutes of all the
major attractions in Florence and the Mercado Centrale around the corner.
There are many good restaurants in the immediate area, and a lovely coffee
shop/bakery a few footsteps from the apartment. I would not hesitate to rent
this property again - perfecto!Response from Apartments Florence - 06/07/2012

Edinburgh, ScotlandGreat apartment in centre of Florence
Left on 05/15/2012 for a stay in May 2012
just returned from one weeks stay at this apartment with partner and friends and could not have been better. The apartment is in the centre of Florence, with the great terrace's overlooking the spectacular Duomo and a practically all of the city.
We were met promptly by the owner when we arrived, which is a 5 minute walk from the Santa Novella Train/Bus Station, given a tour of the apartment and time to settle in before exploring the city.
The apartment is very modern with comfortable double room and a pull down sofa bed in separate room/livng spaced which was king sized and very comfortable. There is a further single bed in a separate bedroom. Upstairs the kitchen is modern, clean and has facilities for cooking or making light meals/ breakfasts as needed. A few steps lead up to a small living room with TV/DVD player and access to the 2 terraces which offer great views of the city and are great for sitting out and enjoying an early evening drink.
location wise its 1 minute walk to Central Market hall and the outside markets - which is a must for buying local produce. 5/10 mins walk and you are at all the major sites - the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi etc.
The only downside to the apartment for some may be the five flights of stairs as less mobile guests may find this a problem. Would stay here again.Response from Apartments Florence - 05/21/2012

Left on 03/18/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We were delighted with our apartment on Via Sant'Antonino. The owner, Michele, greeted us on our arrival to Florence and gave us a quick but thorough run-down on the apt. The apt is spacious and thoughtfully equipped. The best features are the views - particularly of the Duomo and the dome of the Capella dei Principi. Having the Mercato Centrale a stone's throw away was another bonus. The train station is an easy 5 minute walk from the apt., making it easy to do day trips to Siena, Pisa, Lucca.

MelbourneA perfect place from which to explore Renaissance Florence
Left on 01/29/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Via San antonino#27. The apartment is well located to the main train station and to a great food market, for fresh lunch treats, a stones throw from the Duomo, shopping and walking distance to the extraordinary wonders of Renaissance Florence. The light and bright apartment has all modern facilities with the bonus of two roof terraces for a sense of space and to capture the magical views.
We would stay there again in a flash, and the stairs, far from a deterrent, enabled me to justify that delicious cake from the local pastichiera! -

New YorkA beautiful view of the rooftops and domes of Florence
Left on 01/14/2012 for a stay in December 2011
The apartment truly was marvelous. We stayed three nights over New Year's Eve and very much enjoyed our stay. Despite being a bit chilly, we enjoyed the terrace to sit and watch the sun go down over a glass of wine, and to view the 360 degree view of fireworks as midnight struck on the 31st.
The location is perfectly placed just by the food market (where we did all our grocery shopping), a few minutes walk from the train station and close to all the main tourist attractions in Florence.
Michele was a pleasure to deal with. We would rent this apartment again next time we are in Florence. -

SeattleCan't get a better location
Left on 11/19/2011 for a stay in November 2011
Our recent stay at this apartment was great in almost every way. Several other reviewers do a great job of describing the location, view, nearby sights, spaciousness etc. on the positive side as well as the caution that there are about 80 stairs to climb (making it less suitable for some). There was one unpleasant surprise that I feel compelled to write about as a cautionary note to others. One of the two bathrooms had a problem with the drain from the shower. As a result, the sour/sewer smell made the bathroom unusable. There were only 3 of us, so we closed the door and put a towel under it to keep the smell from coming into the apartment. We got by nicely with one bathroom, but a larger group needing both bathrooms could be very disappointed. The owner explained it is only an intermittent problem and that they have tried to make a fix but it is related to the plumbing for the building and not just the apartment. We were given a nice apology, but no consideration for not having use of the bathroom for our 6-night stay. Because of all the positives (the view really is amazing) we'd stay again with a small group, but I wouldn't take a chance if we needed two bathrooms.

CorkWonderful holiday in Florence
Left on 11/05/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This was a great apartment for our family. We have 4 children aged 17, 15, 13 and 10. The apartment is spacious and very attractive. There are 3 good sized double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is plenty of living accommodation also with a well equipped attractive kitchen. The views from the terraces are amazing. The location is second to none in the heart of the San Lorenzo district with the food and outdoor markets on your doorstep and 5minutes walk from the Duomo. It is very quiet as it is on the 4 th floor with good sound insulation. The service was also exceptional. Michele met us at the bus station at 2.30 am to show us to the apartment as our flight was delayed and all dealings with him were very friendly and professional. He also gives excellent local knowledge re restaurants, shopping, ice-cream etc. As it is on the 4th floor with no lift it may not be suitable for families with young children or for anyone with impaired mobility. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Imagine waking up to the soft sounds of Florence beginning to stir below you and views of the Medici Chapel and the Duomo framed by your window. Or how about sitting on a lovely terrace, sipping some Brunello and watching the sun set over the city of Florence. That is what this apartment provided everyday of my vacation. Several friends and I were looking for a location that would provide us with a terrace on which to enjoy some wine and the views of the city, would provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for the five of us, and modern amenities in an excellent location. We received everything we could have wanted and more from this apartment. The owner was a gracious host, timely and responsive when we had additional questions about the property. The apartment is two floors and had plenty of space for all of us. It is in a perfect, and safe, location on a pedestrian only street, just steps away from the Mercato Centrale (be sure to try some spicy salami and grab some fresh ingredients to cook up a feast) and minutes away from all other monuments and attractions. It was also very accesible to the train station and to a taxi stand should you need one. Spending a week in this apartment allowed us to truly feel like we were a part of Florence.

DublinBest Views In Florence
Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Via San antonio #27 - This apartment has the best views in Florence. Easy
walk from main train/bus station, sights, and the market is at your
doorstep to get fresh pasta, fruit/veg etc. It is comfortable and very
clean, with wonderful bathrooms and water pressure, nice sheets and
towels. It sleeps 6 (7 at a push on small sofa in the living room). I
highly recommend this lovely bright apartment. Only thing to note for
young children (under 4) and old people is the 80 steps up to the door and
then glass stairs inside the flat - but the walk is worth the views and
privacy. Worth it - I would stay again. While it costs a bit more than some rentals, you are getting so much more - 2 balconies, all newly renovated, 2 high-end bathrooms, and you can see someting from every single window - just wonderful. -

We stayed in Sant'Antonino in May and loved it. The two terraces were
fabulous both for having dinner al fresco or for a glass of wine as the
sun went down. Having a washer was fantastic and the kitchen was great.
Would stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation! Michele,
the owner, was nice and very helpful. -

Left on 08/13/2011 for a stay in August 2011
The apartment is very well placed for all the attractions in Florence, we found them all within walking distance. It is especially convenient for the San Lorenzo church and the Duomo. The San Lorenzo food market, which is excellent, is just around the corner and there are many other shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment has a marvellous view from the top terrace and it is a lovely place to eat al fresco. It is very modern and stylishly decorated. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We found we could have done with a few more plates, cups, glasses and cutlery so that we didn't have to put the dishwasher on quite so often, but if just a couple were staying then they would probably have enough. However, we had a fabulous time there!

Just back from a 5 day stay in Florence at the Sant' Antonino apartment. The place is gorgeous, clean, modern, and has stellar views of the city. Michele, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Booking through apartments Florence was easy and the staff was helpful. Was travelling with friends and needed a place to "come home to" and this was it. We enjoyed every evening on the uppermost terrace recounting tales of the day. Cooked in a couple of nights using fresh food purchased at the Mercado Centrale across the street. You must be willing to climb 81 steps to the fourth floor but you will be well rewarded with a beautiful place to call home for a while.
