The only reason I rate this apartment as "very good" instead of "excellent" is because there is a good bit of street noise. I solved the issue at night with earplugs. But everything else is great! Enrica is lovely and she is very easy to work with and met us at the front door when we arrived. We had rolling suitcases and walked from the train station. You can walk to everywhere from the apartment- all the tourist sights. We also walked to the train station when we left. Very clean apartment with nice new bathroom. The kitchenette is best suited for preparing coffee and storing sandwich fixings, not a big meal. But you'll be eating out in a great restaurant nearby anyway! Again, it's in a super location.

My wife and I stayed in Vigna for 5 nights in October 2012. The location is great with many nice and good price restaurants (those recommended in Lonely Planet) nearby. All the tourist attractions, train station, shopping areas, Sita bus terminal are within walking distance (<20 mins on foot). Enrica is very friendly and helpful. The flat is nice and clean with excellent hotel-like toilet.
Best: Good and safe location, spacious and clean
Worst: Be prepared with mosquito repellent in summer (also in other parts of Italy) -

Enrica was lovely to deal with - both by email and then in person. This apartment was really nicely situated - close to everything. That being said, it is on quite a busy street so you do hear some noise from below (nothing a set of ear plugs wouldn't take care of). The apartment was impeccably clean and very reasonably priced.

This apartment is beautifully decorated and well appointed; the perfect place to stay when you visit Florence! There is so much character and charm, and it has everything you need for your stay (from kitchen utensils to wireless to English tv). It is located right in the city center, steps away from Piazza Republica, but just far enough down the street to be perfectly quiet at night. It is a very nice area... you are across the street from Chopard jewelers. The apartment was spotless and well-taken care of. Enrica was the perfect host. She made herself available- without being imposing- and was happy to help with anything we needed. She was very accommodating, even when we had to change our reservations due to issues with the airlines! The bedroom had 2 beds that could be separated or pushed together, and there is a sofabed in the living room. It has a fairly large bathroom, especially by European standards (and plenty of hot water and good water pressure). Even better, the apartment has air conditioning! I could not recommend this apartment enough! Just FYI: there are quite a few steps to go up (about a flight and a half), and no elevator, so if you have a disability or very heavy suitcases, please keep this in mind.

16th century building that has been updated with present day amenities and plenty of space for a one bedroom apt, including sleeper sofa. Centrally located within easy walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Landlord lives next door and is completely attentive and extremely helpful, but not intrusive.

This was a spotless, large, air conditioned apartment perfectly located to see all of Florence. Everything was walkable, and stepping out the door put you onto streets filled with shops and restaurants. The owner was pleasant and helpful. While not an issue for our party of 3, there is a rather steep flight of steps to get up into the apartment which might be problematic for someone with mobility problems. In all respects we found the apartment delightful and perfect for days of sightseeing. We recommend it highly.

Vigna is a lovely one bedroom apartment in a great location. The exposed beams, mix of antique and modern furniture and artwork make the apartment both welcoming and charming. The bathroom was spotless and a good size.
Having lived in Florence, I know you can't get a much better location. Ponte Vecchio is a short walk away, as are the less tourist filled restaurants Oltranno, and it's a manageable 700m walk from SMN train station with a suitcase. The proximity to the station without being too close (the general station area isn't great) was really useful especially for day trips.
Enrica also lives just nextdoor and was very responsive and helpful. -

There were two of us on this trip, one took the bedroom and I took the fold out bed in the living space. It was wonderful, the foldout was really comfortable and I preferred it to one of the single beds (which could be pushed together to create one big bed). The high ceilings gave the place a really nice feel. Overall, the apartment was just enough space for two. It was clean and very pleasant and so centrally located that we walked everywhere we needed to go. The Market Centrale is close by so great for getting fresh food which made it really special. When I go back I will definitely stay here again.

This is gem of a place and Enrica a delightful, gracious owner who lives net door and though non intrusive, was responsive to all the questions that we had. The flat is comfortable and within a short walk of all the major attractions. A perfect spot.
