The apartments are located on the third floor without lift of an historic building, Palazzo Gaddi, located in the bright square of Madonna degli Aldobrandini where you can find the famous Cappelle medicee (Medici chapels). Duomo and Piazza della Signoria are within a 3 minutes walk away.

GIGLIO SUITE - Medici Chapels (4+4)

The apartment is located on the third floor without lift of an hi...storic building, Palazzo Gaddi, in the San Lorenzo district, in the bright square of Madonna degli Aldobrandini where you can find the famous Medici Chapels. Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the railway station are within a 3 minutes walk. The historical Mercato Centrale is just two blocks away.

The apartment (70 square meters) is a bright, spacious, comfortable flat. In this apartment there are two bedrooms: the first one, with a double size bed (or two single beds) overlooking the silent courtyard, and a big wardrobe; the second one, really spacious and bright, with a double size bed (or two single beds) and a pull out sofa bed, overlooking the majestic Medici Chapels and with a view of the Duomo and the Giotto’s Bell Tower.

Next to the second bedroom you can find the nice and modern bathroom with a shower (hairdryer available). In the living room there is a second double sofa bed and a square wooden table with design chairs; the white kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge, freezer, gas hob, dishwasher.

Through a nice wooden stairs you reach a little closet with a useful washing machine.

The apartment is extremely quite and peaceful.

WIFI internet access, TV, AC. Garage (not included) and a lot of markets 30 metres from the property.

Additional Location Information

All the monuments are just within few minutes walking away. At few metres from the flat you have refine shops, grocery, bakery...theatre, traditional florentine restaurants, fashion bars, cafes. etc..
There is a garage located just 30 metres from the property, ideal for those wanting to hire a car during their stay.
The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci (Peretola) Airport in Florence about 25 minutes taxi ride . However, flights often tend to be cheaper to Pisa which is only an hour away by car. A cheap bus service (10 euros one way) connects Pisa airport to the heart of the city of Florence where it stops at the centrally located Santa Maria Novella train station. It's then 5 minute walk to the property. Car hire is not needed but there is a public garage 30 metres from the property if you do need somewhere to park a car.
Moreover, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo, Siena, Bologna and beaches are all within an hours' train or bus journey from Florence, and train and bus stations are with 5 minute walk from the property

  We stayed there as a family for a whole week. The flat is perfectly located near all attractions and even public transport is very easily accessible (train for further travel as well as local buses for just moving around in the city).
  With two kids there is enough space as well. We have been out for eating except breakfast for kids. If you want to eat more at home, you would want more pans, glasses, ... but there is a dishwasher and a 4 position gas stove and both work fine.
  There is a food and "everything" shop conveniently located 50m away that even carries plug adapters (global to italian).
  Summary: For us the flat was excellent.

  l'appartement est agréable et lumineux et surtout très bien placé dans le coeur historique de Florence. Mariangela nous a très bien accueilli, est très chaleureuse et nous a donné des conseils bien utiles.
  L'équipement ménager pourrait être plus étoffé et cela serait parfait!
  Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable sur place.
