Description from the manager
This Tuscany apartment in Florence sits on the south side of the river Arno, with views of the Uffizi. Enjoy the comfortable and characteristic decor of your Florence accommodation, or go out into your local neighborhood to shop and dine to your hearts' content. Of course you'll also be spending a great deal of time just on the opposite side of the river, in the heart of historic central Florence, when staying at this Tuscany holiday apartment.
This palazzo dates back to the 15th century, when the banks of the Arno River were flanked by palazzi [palaces] belonging to patrician families such as the Bardis. The edifice was modified over t...Read more

The location and cleanliness of the apartment were fantastico!
Nothing. It was great.
Removed enough to be quiet but close enough to be convenient. -

We had a fantastic time in Florence and the apartment was excellent. The house book provided all the information we needed to make our stay perfect. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!
We loved the location and the view. The Ponte Vecchio and the heart of Florence was only a short walk.
Traffic noise at night, but with ear plugs everyone slept fine.
Nothing like having the Pitti Palace in your back yard and the Uffizi and all the beautiful historic building in your front yard. There were many excellent restaurants an easy walk from the apartment. We tried a different one every day. -

The property is in a fantastic location. Very easy to get around. Management team was very helpful.
The view! Also, the size of the place.
The noise on the back street. The property manager should leave a note about the dryer. It will not run if the canister is full of water....
Every single thing! Florence is awesome!!! Well worth the trip! Scenery, museums, markets, churches the best, nothing can compare! -

We were a group of 23, spread out over 4 units in this same building. We found the locations and amenities to be perfect for our large group. We were able to congregate and talk and also have large family dinners and breakfasts. The host in the lobby was very helpful and he was able to assist us in getting places and calling taxis and such. You will find the same comments attached to the other apartments that we had together as a family.
Spacious rooms which allowed us to congregate other family members over for food and conversation. In addition our children had space to play during the day and were less likely to be disturbed when sleeping.
Parking was a bit problematic. The street is monitored and only available for parking by residents. This required parking in a garage down the street near the Ponte Vecchio at a pretty steep rate. Florence is not known for its wide streets and ample parking, we lowered our expectations and were prepared for some difficulties regarding vehicles.
Views of the Arno and Florence were great. Access to the Autostrada and other connections to hill towns was eased because you are on the other side of the river. It was refreshing to be able to access all the sites, shopping and restaurants on foot and still have a quiet pleasant location next to the river to return to at night.
