We enjoyed our stay at Della Rosa and in Florence! The apartment is close to so many of the things most people want to see in Florence. It's also close to good restaurants and shopping, and let's not forget the gelato!
The apartment is up one floor from street level on a rather major road so it's easy to find. (Heads up, there are two sets of street numbers on buildings in Florence - one for commercial/businesses and the other set for residential addresses.)
There's tons of street noise until around 3:00 in the morning that's a real problem! I would recommend you bring earplugs if you decide to book this apartment!
Although the air-conditioning in the living room of this apartment it doesn't reach the bedrooms very easily. Nights can be a little warm there in the summer!
The apartment has a nice little kitchen with just about everything you'll need to cook the basics. Great food is available at an open air/covered market just a few minutes away and not to far from a couple of grocery stores as well.
This apartment has great Wifi with a fast connection and can be used by more than one computer at a time.
One of the best features of Della Rosa is the attentive staff if you have any needs while you're in Florence!

Santa Croce delight!
We stayed at Della Rosa for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The apartment was close to Santa Croce and the Bargelo Museum. We apreciated how welcoming the staff was and how clean the apartment was. We definitely would go back!

Della Rosa is a pleasant, clean, comfortable, well-lighted apartment in the Santa Croce area of Florence. My husband and I stayed there for two weeks. Everything, and I mean everything, is close by - museums, food stores, eating establishments, etc. The Duomo is less than a 10 minute walk as is the arno.
