Welcome to our fabulous one-level, three-bedroom, three-bath Folly Beach home at Turn of River! If you are looking for something a little different than the usual beach-themed condo, THIS IS IT! We just purchased this spacious 1,500 s.f. condo, (completely unfurnished), in August 2010, and have fully renovated and decorated it in a fun, bright contemporary décor. All-new furnishings include a side-by-side refrigerator with ice and filtered water through the door, washer and dryer, living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, premium pillow-top mattresses with... high-fiber count linens, 4 flat-screen HD televisions, 2 DVD players, stereo system with iPod adapter, and all small kitchen appliances and cookware.

You will find our professionally decorated condo comfortable and welcoming with lots of personality. It is just waiting for you to relax and put your feet up while watching the 40” Sony Bravia HDTV or listening to your own iPod connected to the stereo system. You can also use the DVD player or VCR to watch your favorite movies. Bring your laptop if you have to stay “plugged in” to the real world, and log on to the DSL Wi-Fi service in the condo. The living room, with its large windows facing the Folly River and access to the screened porch, is open to the dining room where you will enjoy your meals at the contemporary glass-topped table with seating for six. The adjacent kitchen offers a pass-thru to the dining room so that the cook can still enjoy the views.

The master bedroom suite welcomes you with a king-size bed with designer linens and flat-screen HDTV as well as your own private bath with two shower heads and a private entrance onto the screened porch. The queen bedroom will appeal to your “wild side” with a zebra-themed décor, flat-screen HDTV and a little reading nook. Your own private bath will provide a large, walk-in shower and plush towels. Additional Location Information

The views from Turn of River #2C are truly amazing and the ocean breezes will keep you cool as you enjoy your morning coffee or perhaps an evening cocktail on the screened porch. Sunsets are spectacular and the sailboats are plentiful! Dolphins parade up and down the Folly River for your viewing pleasure and Great White egrets and other local birds routinely fish in the tidal pool at low tide just beside the condo. You may also see a kayaking class in session or some fishing boats heading up the river for a day’s outing.

You are invited to visit the Turn of River dock to try your hand at crabbing or fishing but if that seems like too much effort, just drop in at the pool for a quick dip or a leisurely session of sunning and novel-reading in the chaise lounges. Once you begin to feel the need to venture beyond the beauty of the Folly River, you can stroll to the beach in about 10-15 minutes or take a ride on your bicycle and get there in half the time. Along the way, you can stop off for a bite to eat or take care of that “retail therapy” need in the funky little town of Folly Beach. Enjoy a stroll on the Folly Pier and see what the fisherman are catching or comb the white-sand beaches looking for that special shell to take home as a memento of your Folly Beach vacation. Of course, you can always just stretch out on your beach towels and soak up some sun and relaxation.

You will also want to drive the 10 miles into the City of Charleston for a little local culture infusion. There is truly something for everyone in Charleston, including the Straw Market where locals weave incredible grass baskets, world-class restaurants, antiquing, King Street shopping, horse and carriage rides, historic plantations, the Battery, Patriot’s Point, golf courses, outlet shopping, Charleston Harbor, ferry rides to Fort Sumter, and LOTS more.

Upon your arrival at Turn of River, you will find two designated parking spaces in the garage on the main floor for your use. There you can unload all your gear into one of the provided carts and wheel it up on the elevator to 2C where your best-ever Folly Beach vacation is about to begin.

  Our family had a wonderful time at this condo! The view from the screened in balcony is awesome! The condo has everything you need. The towels and linens are luxurious. There is plenty of space even with six adults. It is an easy walk to the beach and many nearby sites to see. Highly recommend the swamp walk at Magnolia Plantation.
