Come on over and watch the sunrise from this beautifully remodeled oceanfront home! To make room for larger families, this property is rented as a full house during the summer. Enjoy the convenience of being together in one beach home, yet with the privacy that comes from having separate exterior entrances on each floor. Relax and watch tv from the first floor living room that includes an eat-in kitchen and dining area. The first floor also has two bedrooms, one bath along with a washer and dryer. The cottage is vintage and the view of the Atlantic is grand. The upstairs is well done and quite comfortable. However, the downstairs air conditioning had been turned off for a week prior to our arrival and the July heat was not kind to the floor space. The smell was musty...the downstairs was unusable for most of our stay. Avocet staff was good at working with us to reduce the problem (dehumidifier and air purifier were brought in and finally improved the air quality). Everything else was great!

Loved the screened in porch- probably the best feature. Upper level was beautiful, updated and clean. Lower level was not as nice. Felt like a basement and was damp. Needs updating. Would definitely return. Loved Avocet and their staff. We received great service from them, especially compared to our friends who stayed in the house next door through another agency.
