Welcome to our 4 bedroom home with the best view on Folly Beach. Enjoy beautiful sunrises from either of our two oceanfront decks. This gorgeous home has a large great room for you and your family to enjoy the modern gourmet kitchen, conversation and dining island, dining room and well appointed living room with cable TV. The main floor has a master bedroom/bathroom suite with queen-size bed, TV and deck access. There is also a second guest bedroom with queen-size bed on the main floor. The staff at Avocet was very kind, informative and hospitable. I had no problems booking or making the arrangements for my wedding.
The house is gorgeous and made an excellent venue for our event. All the bedrooms were clean and very well decorated. The bathrooms were large and comfortable. We especially love the spiral staircase. It made for a beautiful back drop for pictures.
The location was very convenient. It was only a few blocks from all the restaraunts and shops. The traffic wasn't bad and we had a beautiful spot on the beach.
The only problems we faced with the house was the door to the upstairs balcony was difficult to open and close and the CD player on the stereo wouldn't play CD's.
We had a great time and enjoyed the accomodations very much. Many of our wedding guests complimented the beauty of the house as well.
My family and friends all agree we would love to go back to Folly and spend a week at the Occassion House.

This was a very nice place for our daughter's wedding. However, there were many maintenance issues. The owners were very responsive in fixing everything, but it just wasn't something we needed to deal with while preparing for the wedding.

We loved this place. It is a great oceanfront location and nicely decorated and equipped. The staff at Avocet was wonderful and gave us great tips on where to dine and things to do. This will be our annual beach vacation home every year.
