KonstanzSchöne Unterkunft in Forks
Left on 10/18/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Smack dab in the middle of Forks. This house is within walking distance of everything. It was great to come home to a house as opposed to a hotel room after hiking all day. The house was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the ability to put in a code to enter the home rather than having to use a key.

Who knew you would find such a great place to stay in little old Forks. This place was even better than the great place i stayed at in Capitol Hill, Seattle, The Maple apts, which were also great.
I especially appreciated that unlike other Vrbos i stayed at, the kitchen was really fully equipped with really nice Cephlon pots and pans, as opposed to nasty old teflon.
The place was quiet, the bed fantastic and firm and high off the ground, the decorating really lovely, unlike the Ikea showroom style of some other places i have stayed at, like i say i felt like i was staying in a friends home with better taste in decorating than i have.
Justin was easy and fast to deal with, and very nice. There were even some decent videos to watch. Why do all the other places have Chitty chitty bang bang? And OMG, the water pressure and european shower head were fantastic after a long day hiking. Finally, i also really appreciated the european environmentally friendly water saving toilet with two different flushes.
Thanks kids! -

The place is very cute and comfortable but only has one small room. It is near the main road and very loud. I had a very hard time sleeping.

We stayed in the new two bedroom house. It was amazing for our group, there was plenty of space to spread out, ample and gorgeous kitchen, cozy living area, homey dining area and even an office/desk space for those who absolutely must work when in the OP (no one should do that). The decor was perfect and it's extremely charming. It was really easy to book and get in on the arrival day. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. This would be a perfect home base for a week long trip to the Olympic Peninsula. I highly recommend it.

The funky small town of Forks (of "Twilight" filming fame) is a great location to visit the beautiful Hoh rain forest, and to photograph the spectactular stone "stacks" at Ruby Beach. A much better choice than busy, industrial Port angeles. Be aware that often the mornings and evenings are very foggy along the very edge of this coast. . . best to try for some sun in the early afternoon.
We've been traveling about 6 months a year for the past few. . . ah, what seems like decades. The Woods Street Guest House is the best outfitted guest house we've ever encountered. This young couple has done an outstanding job recently rebuilding "from the rafters" these two off set units (little true common wall space), with an adjoining door. . . perfect for families or groups of friends.
We stayed in the one bedroom unit. There is a small yard in front, complete with flowers and outside dining furniture. The interior is like a small apartment, with an actual foyer (a place to leave hiking boots and jackets), a medium sized very fully equiped kitchen, a separate dining room, a good sized living room with comfy sofa bed, and a small separate bedroom. Plus, all of the furniture and furnishings (large thirsty towels, etc.) are still new, well chosen and very comfortable. . . even the queen sized memory foam bed.
The icing on the cake is the thoughtful attention to detail: basic spices, coffee & filters, "sharp" knives, wine glasses, cleaning resources, clean extra blankets, plenty of hooks for towels and clothes, free wifi, good TV access and family Dvds, games, books, etc.
For the price of a decent hotel room, you can have an immaculate apartment with a "real" kitchen and room to spread out. . . wha's not to love??? Very highly recommended! -

My family (4 adults) just came back from a weekend spent in the area.
We spent the day exploring the coast and Hoh rain forest.
After a very long day, the Wood Street Guest House was the perfect oasis.
Everything inside is super clean, modern, and fully furnished. We stayed in the 1 bedroom part, and 2 of us slept on the pull out couch (very comfy!).
For dinner, we just went to the local supermarket just a few blocks away and picked up some food. There's a small yard with a table/chairs that we ate out on....perfect way to end the day! -

Not only did Dylan and Justin respond quickly, they accepted our request to come stay on very short notice. We were celebrating a grandson's birthday, and had two big dogs in tow. The fenced yard was a real bonus to the beautifully finished and well laid-out cottage. There was every amenity we could have thought of; we very much appreciated staying and will certainly return! Thanks so much!

The Wood Street Guest House was a home away from home for us on our visit to Forks.
The cabin was clean and had kickin' heat (for us Florida folk). The place has charm and great attention to detail has been given. We will be back to Forks and we will be staying at the Wood Street Guest House! -

It doesn’t get much better than this – a clean, well-designed, exceptionally furnished place very close to the center of Forks, but quiet as it’s just off the main street. A great base for exploring the Washington coast and Olympic National Park.
We hope to return! -

The Wsgh was a great stay. The house was neat and clean with simple decor. It reminded me of home and we felt very comfortable here. The location was perfect- right in town, near restaurants and the grocery store. We were there for the 4th of July and even walked to the town park for an awesome fireworks display. The owners were responsive and easy to deal with and made the stay seamless. The kitchen was well stocked, so you could make your meals here- or you could go to the restaurants in town... the choice is up to you. This is a by far the best place to stay in Forks.

Friends and I came to stay and were blown away at how cute, quaint, and well thought out the house was. It is in a great location, very quiet and the little extras provided were a nice surprise. It is definitely a place we will come back to for a week or even just a weekend.

Only complaint at all is that Forks is absolutely plastered with Twilight schmaltz. -

Wonderful place! Great for one or two couples; or a family with two kids. Super comfortable and clean. They thought of everything - well laid out and felt right at home. Great fireplace for those cold autumn or winter nights. Kitchen stocked with all the amenities you need - microwave, pots, pans, silverware, dishware; coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Nice little front yeard area with tables for use during warmer months. Hosts very responsive and helpful with booking. Great location - easy access to Olympic National Park - both Hoh Rainforest and La Push/Rialto area beaches. Walking distance to outstanding little Mexican restaurant. Very reasonable price.

I loved the guesthouse. It was very comfortable and cozy and had all the amenities needed for an extended stay. It was smartly appointed with hardwood floors and a stylish interior. The neighborhood was quiet. The shower was hot with great water pressure too. I would definitely stay here again. Helpful and kind hosts.

I've been coming to Wood St. Guesthouse for the past year now and have nothing but good things to say about the accomidation. The owners really have done a great job with the newly remodeled guesthouse. Its really clean and cozy and a great perk is the best taquerilla restaurant north of the boarder is 2 blocks away!
Thanks again Justin and Dylan!
