AberdeenGreat location, cottage in need of attention
Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Great location but cottage in need of attention. Strong damp smell. Freezing cold. Cobwebs in the ceilings and lampshades which my husband hoovered, cleaners job I would have thought! Kitchen floor was filthy. Thank goodness for the Kimberley Inn, as most of the crockery was chipped, and the overall standard of cleanliness was poor.

GlasgowFun in the Findhorn Sun

We have rented cottages in Findhorn nearly every year for the last 10 years and this is the best in terms of location, value for money and cleanliness. The place was spotless! As well as being close to the fabulous Kimberley Inn, the shore and the Bakehouse, the cottage has a properly enclosed garden and patio which is ideal for children to play in. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage, and the owner has been a pleasure to deal with too.

CUMBERNAULD100 Findhorn from 2010-2011
Left on 05/16/2011 for a stay in January 2010
100 Findhorn was the kind of cottage we were looking for to quietly celebrate Hogmaney. Not only was it comfortable & homely, but having a 'real' fire brought back lots of memories of this time of year (although since our visit, the heating has been upgraded & a log burning stove intalled). We were also able to join in the village Claver burning, enjoy the friendly atmosphere @ the Kimberley Inn (2 mins away) & long walks on the beautiful Moray coast.

BanchoryExcellent family holiday cottage
Left on 05/09/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Lovely cottage. Lots of character and everything you need. Really liked the window seat in the kitchen. The large (by Findhorn standards) garden was a welcome surprise. The parking space can be a test of your reversing skills but is essential on busy days.
Findhorn is a fantastic family holiday venue. Cycling around Culbin was a highlight. The kids loved crabbing from the quayside and the food at the nearby pub was great. The beaches are something else.
