We couldn't ask for a better place to stay in the area. The property is well looked after, clean and tidy. The house is very comfortable for everybody, including our two dogs Max and Timmy. The kitchen is a bit small but very well equipped. The garden is nice and big enough for the dogs to run and play about. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal to organise day trips around the area.

Nice and clean. Everything you need in kitchen but too small, and not enough room to move around especially when using cooker/oven. Stairs not good for anyone with any mobility problems, and even for people who are able.
Outside car parking not ideal especially as you have to fight with the overgrown bushes to get in and out of your car.
Area very good and Fort augustus lovely.
Overall nice holiday.

we really enjoyed this lovely little cottage, perfect location, didnt need car unless you wanted to explore further afield. Plenty of walking for the dog, our jack russell enjoyed his walks along the canal, and even had a swim in loch ness.If we were travelling this way again we would certainly consider this cottage.
Perfect holiday base with dog to explore the region

Nice little cottage - all what was written in the description is correct - has all what you need - perfect to stay with a dog (garden - several walks starting from the cottage) - and good starting point to explore the region - just do not expect a big kitchen (but has all what it needs)
Excellent choice and a nice holiday in pleasant surroundings
