We had a wonderful time-the condo is so comfortable and relaxing, we absolutely loved it! So much better than staying in a hotel room, with a full kitchen, dining area and living room.

The coordinator who handled all the back-and-forth email communication was responsive & professional. Billing was handled accurately & advance notification was provided - our unit was ready for occupancy as promised & as expected. We had rented both this one-bedroom unit & the adjoining studio to give our family some room to spread out. This was not elegant or luxury accommodations, but worked for us quite nicely. We did not use the kitchen in the adjoining studio, but everything worked fine in the one-bedroom unit kitchen. The beds in both units were clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable, bordering on inexpensive; with a full kitchen, and washer/dryer available - we were able to enjoy Fort Lauderdale quite economically by renting here. While the units are old, and show their age in many respects, they are maintained. We did have a hot water issue in the studio, and maintenance came right away and fixed it. The phone # provided for the property mgmt people is staffed by real bodies who seem focused on keeping their renters satisfied. This is a 10-min (or less) walk to the beach - a definite plus - and the neighbourhood is quiet. Garbage is picked up regularly right out front. Parking is directly in front of the unit, and there is a sense of privacy. It was easy to get in using the key code; when we were ready to leave, we just locked up and left. Quick and easy and no waiting in line to check in or check out. The neighbourhood is also old, but clean and I felt safe, and we saw many renovations going on with nearby facilities while we were there. It was a very short drive to Publix and other retail outlets on Sunrise for supplies and such. Added bonus - wireless internet worked great!

I've never been the first person to review a site before, but since I rely quite heavily on user reviews when I do my own trip planning, I think it is important to do so now. First of all, kudos and thanks must go to the coordinator who handled all the back-and-forth email communication and paperwork - Maryam was quite wonderful - responsive, service-oriented, and professional. Had we not had that kind of service, we would have likely been too nervous to stay here without other reviews to check out. Billing was handled accurately and advance notification was provided - our unit was ready for occupancy as promised and as expected. We had rented both this one-bedroom unit and the adjoining studio to give our family of 4 some room to spread out. While our first impression upon arrival was not over-the-top impressed, that was likely because we were arriving from a high-end, rather luxurious condo rental earlier in the week in Orlando so we were a little spoiled and needed to re-adjust our mindset. This unit in Fort Lauderdale, however, accomodated us quite nicely - along with some perks (beach chairs & towels, for example) that we were not expecting.
