Our house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood only a few minutes walk to the beach. The house is a perfect setting for friends and family to gather and spend a relaxing vacation by the pool, hottub and sauna enjoying the warm, Florida weather. Hwy. A1A, the primary ocean road that runs along the beach from Miami north thru Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach, is only a couple blocks away. Fort Lauderdale's primary nightlife and beach-front restaurants are only a 3 kilometer (2+ mile) walk/drive from our street. The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in a tropical setting. The house is only a four-minute-walk to the beautiful, white sand beaches of Fort Lauderdale. The house is only a few minutes drive to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and everything you would want for a relaxing vacation. There is plenty of parking at the house... the driveway can hold up to four vehicles, and there is plenty of street parking as well. Taxis are plentiful as well if you prefer not to drive! The Everglades, deep-sea fishing, water sports, golf, and sight-seeing is all within a few minutes to a couple hours drive from the house.

We were met at the home by the owner who gave us a tour and made recommendations of things to do nearby.
The home is large and well-decorated with three bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious master suite with sitting area,cathedral ceiling walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and private deck.We did not feel the least bit crowded with 8 adults and a toddler. There was a children's area with many toys, chairs and PS3. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could ask for. Allesandra was an extremely gracious host and even brought over a new coffee grinder and kettle for us. The main dining room table is quite large and we were able to seat 10 adults. The main living room was spacious and a good place to hang out for conversation or watching tv. There are no shortages of tvs in the home, every bedroom had one, plus the living room and sitting room. We also found the washer/dryer and provided supplies very helpful with the little one. There was a crib and high chair at the home. There were plenty of good linens available and lots of towels for the beach/pool. The backyard and patio was perhaps the best feature of the house. The pool was beautiful, clean and warm and there was also an outdoor bar and BBQ.There were pool toys as well and plenty of outdoor seating.
The area itself was a quiet residential neighborhood only a 4 or 5 minute walk to the beach. We did have a car and found it very easy to get around the area. Grocery stores and restaurants were a short drive (about 5 minutes at most). The hotel beach strip and nightlife was a little longer drive but I would still guess it was under 10 minutes.
Checkout was simple and our security deposit was returned quickly. Allesandra and Mark are great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions or requests. We will be recommending this home to anyone we know travelling to Florida and look forward to returning ourselves someday. If you are looking for a beautiful home in a great location this is it.
