The Rookery Cottage is a fabulous 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home located in the tranquil Rookery III subdivision along Fort Morgan Rd. Located in the heart of Bon Secour National Wildlife Reserve this is a fantastic vacation retreat for outdoor enthusiasts!
You'll be delighted by the decor of this lovely coastal cottage - lovely wood floors throughout the home, all new furnishings and appliances, flat screen TVs in the Den and in all three bedrooms, full size washer and dryer, plus an electric grill on the screened back porch!

We had such a nice time and it was our first time going to the Gulf Shores. We liked it so much that we are planning on going back next year. I really feel in my heart that there are some things that I need to bring to your attention. I know if I was on your end I would certainly want to know. First I do not want anyone to get in trouble. When we first arrived at the house we were all happy that it was clean and really happy it had two bathrooms. However, when my sister-in-law and brother started to go to bed that night they pulled back their sheets and they were dirty. They had lots of hair on their bedding. She had to strip the bed and laundry them before going to bed. Our bedroom was just fine.
The washer or dryer doesn't work properly. When she put in the bedding the water line only went about half way up the tub. This is so hard on your nice washer. The dryer just didn't dry the clothes very well at all. We felt so bad about having to let the dryer go on and on. We got them dry but it sure took a long time.
You might want to consider putting in a few more dish towels and dish cloths. We only had one dish towel and one dish cloth.
We had pillows but no cases to put on all of them. We were okay, but maybe the next renters will need them.
I sincerely hope that you take these comments out of love and helpful to you. They certainly aren't meant to be mean. We loved the house and it was so cozy and nice. The pool looked so beautiful from our window. Too bad it was too cold for us to swim.

Every thing was as Mel and Val said it would be. It was a very nice place, I recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid the hustle and bustle.
