We loved staying at the Kiva retreat. It was beautifully appointed and well maintained. My son thought the elevator was "cool". But the stairs were easy to use anyway. I like the fact that I the living area is on the 3rd floor and the bedroom are downstairs. Made it easy to prepare breakfast without waking everyone up. For personal reasons we had to leav early and did not get a chance to see the private beach. Hopefully , we can come back and definitely will stay here again. Highly recommended. The owners are very responsive too. We had an issue with the aC on our first night and she sent a technician right away to fix it.

The neighborhood of Kiva Dunes is excellent for golfers and families wanting a little rest from the crowds. 2 community pools and private beaches are great. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach walkover from this house. Also...be prepared to bring food...not much on Fort Morgan Road! Overall...the house was beautiful, the owner very friendly, and I would definitely rent at this location again!!!

We nearly missed out - it was only when another rental fell through that we found the write up for Kiva Dunes. The response from ParadiseVacations4Rent was very friendly, and really helpful. The setting of Kiva Dunes is amazing - first class clubhouse and use of the swimming pool and tennis court everyday. The Gulf location was beautiful - an expanse of white sand - virtually to ourselves. The house was large and well equipped - we loved the balconies with every room. Great for relaxing with a glass of wine.

My visit to Kiva was much more then I expected considering my expectations were high based on hear say and research prior to my trip.
The residence itself was exceptional in all ways. Easy to find, excellent condition, exceptionally decorated and maintained, and very clean. Access in to the secured community was a bit of a challenge when I first arrived but this was not a problem from that point forward.
Bringing clothing and groceries into the house was a snap with the installed elevator in this three story structure,this was especially beneficial for groceries as the kitchen was on the top floor. Loved the view as I prepared meals.
The community was beautiful, very quiet, and safe for walking in the evenings, and daytime access the beach or pool areas.
Mosquitoes were a bit of a challenge in the evenings when the breezes diminished, bring repellent.
The only thing I found to be a challenge through the entire visit was going out to dinner and returning well after dark. The roadway is desolate and not well lit, so I almost missed the turnoff several times.
Taking into consideration the cost, the quality of the accommodations, and everything else, this was a very small price to pay for this enjoyable get away.
Not only would I do it again, I have recommended it to friends.
