Located in the ever popular Gateway Villas, on the quiet north end of the island. Offering a gated entry, heated beachfront pool/sundeck, shuffleboard, guest laundry, BBQ grills and Tiki Hut area. Nothing better for my wife and I, being right on the beach, having a balcony to watch the breathtaking sunsets.
Enjoyed having all the necesities you would need already in place.
Loved having a gated residence as we had a rental car, and didn't worry about people being there who didn't belong there. Just a little more security.

Your instructions were specific and easy to follow as far as retrieving the keys to the condo...love all the typewritten specifics...
Condo view priceless...every amenity you can think of...pool is big and so soothing.
Wish the laundry facilities were in better working order...

We stayed at Gateway Villas #895 from June 30 to July 7th 2012. We brought a lot of items we did not need to bring. The owners of this condo thought of everything you might need to make the stay comfortable. Beach chairs, coolers, plenty of towels, bathroom products, plenty of kitchen supplys, a fully stocked ready to cook kitchen. All you need to bring is clothes, food and drink. The condo was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the gulf. The walk to time square shops and resturants was convenient. Watching the 4th of July Fireworks on the beach outside our condo was amazing.
I would definetly recommend this condo to family and friends. -

The view is awesome,the condo is beautiful with everything that you could possibly need. The fruit basket and the wine was a very welcoming touch and much enjoyed. Tropical Storm Debby did not make the weather perfect but the the stay was great. As usual the pool was beautiful and always enjoy the safety of the gated buildings. Hope to stay again soon.

Kristin at Beach accomodations was very helpful in arranging the rental. All our questions were answered in a timely fashion.
The condo was well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. The screened lanai was extremely enjoyable and the view was exceptional. The location was the best, quiet yet close to everything. The building and pool are obviously well maintained. We would highly recommend this unit.
There were only two negatives. The toilet kept clogging, we needed to use the plunger often, and the two single beds were much too firm. -

The condo was immaculate and amazing. We didn't need a thing; there was so much available in the condo. I felt comfortable the minute that I walked in until the time that i had to leave. Everything was there at your fingertips. Which brings me to the beach, and how access to the beach was just a elevator ride away!!!

We arrived late on Sunday evening..about 10:00 so we were slightly apprehensive about picking up keys and getting all we needed in order settle in quickly from our travels. We were very impressed how smoothly everything went. It fell into place just as was described via our E-Mail communications etc.
We arrived at the condo and were greeted by a nice "welcome package" of fruit and wine...a nice touch. We immediately opened the patio doors onto the lanai and were greeted by a wonderfully warm ocean breeze and that perpetual surf-sound that we loved the entire week.
The condo was clean, cozy and comfortable. It's well decorated and served our purposes extremely well throughout our stay. The building is right on the beach so whether you prefer to view the beach from the lanai or slugged out on the sand, it's right there. Although we didn't use the pool, we did look it over...very nice and very clean. The maintenance person who lives on the premises does a nice job caring for this place and with obvious pride.
We felt the location was great. Close proximity to the downtown pier that includes numerous restaurants, shops, etc...certainly enough to satisfy folks for a week or two stay. It is also a nice point to trek in multiple directions...Everglades, Sanibel, Fort Myers proper and the various wildlife management areas in the greater region.
Our one negative point...we had to return home. Seriously, we enjoyed a fabulous week of relaxation. The owners who care for the property personally and live nearby make every effort to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.

This Gateway Villas condo was a great home away from home. Special touches - such as morning paper, fruit & wine basket - separated this condo from others, an these were unexpected. The unit was exceptionally clean & nicely decorated. We plan to re-book again for our next visit. A first class unit. Thank you.

This location is close to everything on Fort Myers Beach and in a quiet area. The pool,barbaque, all common areas were clen and well maintained. The sunsets from the balcony were spectacular. There were beach chairs and towels supplied . One of the better vacation spots we have been to.

We love the condo. It's immaculate and beautifully decorated. Times Square and all of our favorite restaurants are all within walking distance. Beach accommodations is very friendly and helpful and easy to work with.

We only had one concern. Why did we pay a fee for towels when we had to
launder them?
We thought that everything we could have wanted was in this condo. We

You paid for a linen service that takes care of the towels and sheets being sanitized for your stay. You didn't have to launder them when you left, maybe between uses but the service launders them and the sheets after you leave.

Loved the location & ocean views!!! The unit was clean & everything in good working order. We normally stay at the South End of the Island, but wanted to try out the North End. We walked to Times Square & enjoyed many good restaurants & shops. The only thing I would have changed was the beds - they were too hard. The sofa bed was more comfortable than the bedroom beds. We would keep this place on our list of places to stay though.
