Carlos Pointe Beach Club. This is a beautiful condo complex located directly on the beach. The condo has a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico with Lover's Key in the background. This condo has been completely remodeled. The kitchen has beautiful cherry cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The bath rooms have new cabinetry and fixtures. We stayed at Carlos Pointe as a last minute change because the other place we stayed at for 13 years was sold! The view was spectacular! Out door, over bridge and in Lovers Key State Park for a run!Pool clean and just the right temperature! Got a card for free DVD rental but never saw anyone in office to claim (for the days we had rain). Condo was very well equipped. If you want touristy stuff you have to travel to the north end. If you want cleaner, quieter take the south end. Gave us a chance to explore Bonita Springs for a change. The bathroom could have used a brighter light. One of the few, great choices we had on our vacation was - do we want to sit and look west or sit and face south from our great 6th floor vantage point! Our nephew had a manatee pop up next to him in the water. I ran thru the trail down the beach a little ways that was like a quiet nature preserve with all kinds of birds.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The facility and surrondings were very clean and well kept. The office personnel at Lahaina Island acc. were firendly, informative and very helpfull. We will return for a future vacation. Something does need to be done in the pool area. Three families with 5-10 year old children dominated the pool for three days. There was no room for seniors to do some relaxing time in the pool. Pool toys were being thrown and the children were allowed to run and jump into the pool. Not a good time. Posted Pool rules were not being followed nor inforced.
