Carlos Pointe Beach Club. This fabulous corner (end) condo is located in a beautiful condo complex located directly on the beach. Extra large "L" shaped screened lanai and extra windows in the living room and dining room make this a true southern island retreat! It has a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico with Lover's Key in the background. There is a large beach and a nice Gulf-front pool. An easy walk to Lover's Key for shelling or great beach walking. We spent a very pleasant week in this well furnished,comfortable apartment.
The views are spectacular from the lanai and we ate many meals there with the beautiful view. Even when it rained one day we simply relaxed and watched the great large flat screen tv or read in the living room.
Lahaina the management company was responsive to all our requests and the owner too was easy to communicate with and friendly.
A great vacation spot especially if you want to rest and recharge.

The condo was updated, which was a plus. It somehow felt "dirty" however. Perhaps it was the carpet, or the utensils and dishes that were less than clean and required additional scrubbing. Lots of towels which was great. The end unit was definitely a bonus. The exterior of the unit needs some attention; it is showing its age. We now own a RCI membership and will not be returning to Carlos Pointe. The staff at Lahiana was very helpful.

The condo was great and we especially enjoyed the 'L' shaped lanai as it allowed more breeze and more viewing. However, the blocking off of the beach for the birds is a huge disappointment, same disappointment as with Castle Beach we rented last year. It's impossible to walk the beach without being harassed by the birds that are being preserved. Though we understand the preservation issues for the birds it took alot away from the experience. Seems they block off more and more of the beach each year. This year while there they extended the blockage by even more.
I found it necessary to walk across the bridge each morning for my walks @ Lovers Key State Park. That was awesome and nice to not be harassed by the birds.
Overall we enjoyed it but believe that we won't be staying at any of those condos again on our next stay. We feel that we can rent a house with a pool and enjoy our vacation as much if not more. Beach access is the big thing and the blockage has removed that luxury.

Great service recieved from Lahaina: Friendly , professional and efficient . The condo was in perfect condition . The building is well maintained and clean . The beach was peaceful and relaxing . We will stay again next year !

We were very pleased with the unit and service that was provided by Lahaina and by the owner.
There was an internet connection issue and Lahaina send
help with that. The owner also sent a technician to
help us with that.
The only problem with our stay was it was way to short!!

I cannot find one thing about this condo that was not geared to the guest. There is even a cooler!I am an avid TV watcher at night so when I saw the tv in the second bedroom I was so happy, because many times there is not one, so I would say for me that was the best. I have always been well satisfied with Lahaina and would always use them. They are so personal and helpful. To me, Fort Myers Beach is perfect summer or winter, cold snap or 90 degrees.

This condo was the perfect getaway for my daughters, and 3 year old grandaugters all- girl vacation. The condo was extremely clean, the kitchen well-equiped, the beds and furniture very comfortable. The pool was warm and very clean. No pool toys allowed tho...if that is important to you. The beach and scenary were beautiful. Lots of beach towels were provided along with beach toys, umbrella, beach chairs, and a cooler. The publix supermarket was closeby, and the "Time Square" shopping area closeby. The other residents, and renters were pleasent and helpful. My only complaint was the weather...but, of course, that could not be helped. the rental agency that we worked with was efficent and everything went smoothly. I would definately stay there again, and use the same agency again. I cannot think of one thing that I was not satisfied with, other than the weather!

My husband and I found Carlos Pointe last February. We stayed in another unit and fell in love with this quiet, relaxing getaway. We definitely wanted to come back and bring our friends. We rented unit 536, and with another couple and found the two bedroom condo very adequate. The unit is furnished with all the amenities of home. Just bring your beach towels and suntan lotion, that's it.
The reason we love Carlos Point is that it is sort of the last building on the beach, so there isn't much foot traffic. The pool is quiet and perfect for reading a good book. The location is central to restaurants and shopping. I love Ft. Myers Beach and Carlos Pointe.
We definitely will be back. -

We had a great week-long vacation at Carlos Pointe Condominium on Fort Myers Beach. The resort is at the quiet end of a long, wide, sandy beach. We were close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. There are many things to do in the area, e.g. take a boat trip from the tip of Captiva Island to one of the smaller islands such as Useppa Key, tour Naples, outlet shopping, or just walking and shell-searching on the beach.
Our corner unit at the resort was clean, quiet and very well equipped. We had a fantastic view of the beach and sunset from our large screened lanai.
Our only issue was the swimming pool, which seems too small for the number of units in the resort. -

This condo was in such a nice location...away from the busy nightlife. The breeze and the view from the lanai were awesome. The condo was clean and just what we needed. The only issue we had was that there was some construction going on in the building and for two days we heard lots of banging and what sounded like a jackhammer. Those two days we went sightseeing although that was not in our plans. The plan was to "veg out" all week, but we had to get out of there. The travel agent offered to move us to a different condo, but it was an inside unit and I rented a corner for a reason..peace, quiet and a nice breeze. They did not offer us any type of refund which did disappoint us. We would stay there again, but we would make the agent check first for any construction projects planned.

A Vacation Interrupted

We always count the days each year to when we can escape to the quiet and serene area of Fort Myers Beach. The accomidations at 536 Carlos Point were wonderful with a great view and plently of peace and quiet and all you need at your disposal in the condo. Unfortunately this year our vacation was interrupted by a death in the family and we had to return home half way through our time there. Due to Lahaina generousity, we were able to return a few weeks later to the same condo unit and finish our vacation. I have and always will recommend them to my friends and family.
