Cramped, in need of maintenance, not as advertised.

Left on 05/21/2013 for a stay in May 2013

The folks at Lahaina were pleasant and helpful. It was worth booking through them to get services because there is no on-site management to call if there is a problem.
The unit is too small. It is minimally adequate for 2 people. The unit is advertised to have 2 baths but it has 1.5. This has been posted online before but the ad remains unchanged.
Cleanliness was OK. There were many minor maintenance issues; annoying but not critical. Several things need replaced including one vertical blind, the dishwasher and the stereo. The parking spot assigned to 105 must be the worst on the property. Nearby, large, posts make it dangerous and difficult. It is not under cover.
Property amenities are quite minimal. The pool is very small. There were a few lounge chairs and 3 Tiki huts for all guests. During our stay in early May the beach was cluttered with tidal waste from the ocean. Most of the beach was closed by the Florida Wildlife Commission to protect nesting shorebirds. In early May, neither sunrises nor sunsets are visible from the unit or from the beach in front of the unit.
It was quiet. The unit is located very conveniently near the entrance. I suspect there are better places to stay for the same cost.

Tight parking spot Be careful where you step Home size pool View from balcony overlooking Lover's Key View from Tiki hut, Beautiful!

      Paradise

Left on 04/25/2013 for a stay in April 2013

I don't have many words to explain how much fun and relaxation time we enjoyed. We live in Milwaukee, WI and came down to escape our cold long winter. This condo felt like home the moment we stepped foot inside. It was clean and had the warm welcoming feeling. We would like to thank you for sharing your paradise with us! We are in our 30's and came down as a "girls trip" and had just the best time. The beach is gorgeous and the people are beyond friendly. We already made plans to come down next year and stay with you again. We did take take the Key West Express to the Keys one day, but felt to enjoy it more, it would make more sense to spend the night in the Keys. We plan on doing that next time. the trolley right out front the door is almost too easy to use! Thank you again for having such an amazing vacation getaway for others to share. See you next year!

Lovely location. Plenty of room on the Beach

Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in March 2013

Stayed in the small 2 bedroom condo for a week. It only has 1-1/2 bath and the kitchen is small with very little storage but, it is in a great location. It is on the southern most point of FT Meyers beach and, is just across the causeway from the Lovers Key State park. The beach is very large about 100 yards wide in front with a salt marsh pond on the North side.
Great location for shelling and watching wildlife.

      Good location on the beach.

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013

It's has a great view, but that's about it as far as the condo is concerned. There is alot of beachfront. It was quite a long walk to actually reach the water.

The owners of this place really need to invest in some new kitchen ware. They need cooking sheets, a pizza pan, new pots and pans. The coffee maker and toaster are so old they are yellow. Thsoe itesm do not cost much money, especially for the price they are charging.

We were given an old ratty looking dish towel to use to dry the dishes and no dish cloth at all. I used a washcloth from the bathroom to wipe down the counter and stove.

The location on the south end of the island was nice. Just a short drive over the bridge to Bonita Springs and the highway.

The master bed was extremely uncomfortable. It is hard as a rock.

There are several other places much more updated with many more kitchen amenities for the same price that I think we will look at in the future.

      Overall a Nice Stay

Left on 04/12/2009 for a stay in March 2009

Nice, quiet buidling with a small number of units right on a large beach. Perfect for the two of us. The "2 Bath" is really a 1 Full and 1 half, so it could be challenging for larger parties. Balcony is narrow and would also lead to tight spaces with larger parties. Kitchen was well equiped and TV's in all the rooms made it nice. We would gladly stay in this unit again.

      Quiet and relaxing condo.

Left on 06/02/2008 for a stay in May 2008

We loved the convenience of staying at Castle Beach. We don't care to stay in sky high condos, so Castle Beach was perfect. Renters need to use their room keys to use the elevator and to get into the swimming pool area. This concept keeps other unwelcome guests from being there and made us feal secure. The condo was very well cared for and had plenty of everything we would have needed like extra towels and bedding. The location also was convenient for us because it was down quite a ways from the most active area. We could visit down by Times Square or we go the other way to get to Lovers Key State Park and Bonita Springs where a lot of restaurants and shopping centers were located. All in all we had a great weeks vacation and the cost was reasonable. Would consider staying there again if we were visiting the area.
