We always choose a Condo to rent for our vacations and this has been my favorite. It was clean, neat and the right size just like Goldylocks I was thrillled. Loved the screened in balcony, you can lay in bed and see the waves, and dolphins. We did all the tourist activities. Everglades, Key West Express (terrific cruise), Dolphine Cruise, and walking the beach. Went to Sanibel for the shells but we found prettier ones on Fort Myers Beach. So much for the Sanibel stoop. We had the Fort Myers stoop. Live sand dollars and star fish (we left them where we found them) not a jellyfish or anywhere. Great time!! We will come again but this time for 2 weeks and when we retire who knows how long we will stay. The picture on the site does not do this Condo justice.

I thought I wrote a review already but I am happy to do it again. Thank you Carrie for sharing your beautiful beach home with my family. We had an amazing week there. The lanai was great for morning coffee and watching the key west express go by and then the gambling boat the big M. There was something for everyone to do and we did it all. Great location for everything ft. myers beach has to offer. Your kitchen was stocked way beyond our expectations and the beds were very comfortable. The home is full of personal touches that really make it feel like a home and not just a rental. Thank you again and we will definitely be back. jenny

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Huge balcony, quiet, beautiful view of water and beach; even saw dolphins jumping one morning. Spacious interior. We greatly appreciated that management accommodated our request to leave keys in unit when we left rather than again taking the very slow drive (only one road leads from one end of island to the other; slow-moving!) to their office which was the most frustrating part of our week on the island. Chaise lounges on balcony are older and not at all comfortable (padding very thin), but other than that the furnishings were fine. Not luxurious, but more than adequate. Nice kitchen. Loved that we could walk the beach for 15-20 min. and get to Times Square cafes, etc.
The condo was clean in the ways that mattered, but there was a lot of dust on fans, lamps, in corners etc. that could be easily remedied with a more extensive cleaning on occasion. Relaxing spot to stay! -

This condo was located just a half mile north of the Times Square area. Very easy walk to restaurants and pier. The building is very nice with a heated pool right on the beach. Our condo, 499, was very spacious, clean and had everything you need and more. Very well equipped! There were even windbreakers in the closet for guests to use on cool nights. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas and a cooler were also available. The best thing though, was of course, the view. Great sunsets from the screened in 4th floor deck. Will definitely go back.
Need to find a better way of getting the key to the cutomers! Office is several miles south and traffic was very heavy. -

The property is on the north end of Estero Island so a perfect location. We had a wonderful view of the beach and front-row seating for sunsets. There is a park on one side of the building so a quiet location and just a trolley ride from the rest of the island. We plan to be back next year!

This place is a fabulous establishment to spend one's beach vacation. Walks on the beach, close to local restuarants, beautiful sunsets, one could not have a better place to spend their time off and with family.

My family (husband, daughter and grandson age 6) spent ten days at Condo 233. We were visiting my feable parents that live in Cypress Cove, Fort Myers.
My husband found the accommodations over the internet. The pictures don't really do it justice. It was wonderful. We live in San Diego, and havea home in Hawaii,so we know what beach living is all about. And this place made us feel so 'at home and comfy'. The views, the artwork, and the spaciousness of the place, let alone the marine life, dolphins, pelicans, crabs, manta reys, plus the shelling made it the perfect spot. -

The condo was very nice. The lanai is perfect. Ft. Myers is a wonderful place. The only complaint is that the mattresses are to hard. Location of this condo is good and the sunsets are fantastic. We will be back.

The online service was very good about getting us information and looking for a place for us to rent.
I would recommend this home. It was comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was furnished and decorated just right for a vacation by the sea. It was easy to get to the great pool and the lovely beach! Parking was good; nice and close to the doorway for my mom-in-law, who has a bad back and knees. The elevator was great! Someone did take our parking spot once while we were out, even though the spots are marked with the unit number the space belongs to. It was raining and we had to park away from the building. It was nice and quiet on the beach side, but mom said it was noisy on the street side early in the morning. I thought it was very peaceful and relaxing.
The few things we would recommend for the sake of the unit itself would be to be sure and fix the fan in the master bathroom so it doesn't ruin the ceilings and walls with excess humidity. Also someone should check the air conditioning system before each renter comes in. It didn't work while we were there. I did call and someone said they would make a note of it. We were ok with having doors open since it was not too hot yet. But we have allergies and it is better for us to be in air conditioning when we sleep or if it is too humid during the day. The other things we would like to see are better garbage bags, a weeks worth of coffee filters,1 extra toilet paper roll per bathroom, a small refillable container of dish soap and a couple of better beach chairs, (2 are rusted and broken.) Also, the outside furniture needs a good scrubbing for the season. I do wish check-in could be earlier because 3:00 is right in the middle of high traffic and took forever to get from the office to the Villa! We wasted our afternoon sitting in traffic! All in all, we would come back if we get the chance. Thank you. -

Evidently the mgmt for this property is responsible for all repairs, etc in the unit. We believe that past renters may have also reported the need for certain repairs in the unit, which had not been done. The carpeting was desperately in need of a cleaning.
The unit itself was nicely decorated offered great views and is located in a nice quiet section on the north end of the island. -

Dear Lahaina Island Accomodations,
My family and I recently rented Vacation Villas 1-233 and truly enjoyed our stay. The location on the island was ideal for what we were looking for and the condo itself was very nice.
When we arrived the key to the condo was in the lock box as indicated in the instructions. You also arranged for us to have an early check-in, which made things very convenient. We loved the privacy of the beach and the size of the lani!
There are a few concerns that we had regarding our unit. First, the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable for my husband and I. The matress was so firm that we had trouble sleeping. If there was an option to bring in some sort of matress cover we would have been interested in that for sure! Also we called early in the week to let you know that the soap dispenser was not closing properly in the dishwasher. To my knowledge no one ever came to repair it.
Our biggest concern about using Lahaina Island Accomodations was the checking out process. We did not realize that we had to take the keys all of the way back down to the office to checkout. If we were traveling to Ft Myers during the busy season we would have to reconsider using Lahaina Island Accomodations because of the length of time that it takes to get from this condo to your office. We questioned why we couldn't just leave in the keys inside the condo?
Thanks,

Manager
Hi Angie,
Lahaina Island Accommodations is thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Vacation Villas 1-233. We are delighted to allow an early check in if it is possible so I am glad to hear that your early check in was an advantage to help you get a head start on your vacation. We have never had complaints about the mattress prior to your comment and unfortunately mattress comfort is different for everyone. Lahaina Island Accommodations made a courtsey call on 11/17/09 and left a message to insure you were having a comfortable stay. We did not hear from you regarding the mattress or we would certainly have tried to come up with a solution. Respectfully, however, we did discuss with you about the dishwasher soap dispenser. We advised that the soap dispenser does not affect the functionality of the dishwasher and you agreed that the dishwasher did leave the dishes very clean!! For our guests' protection the keys can not be left inside the condo because of the potential liability should the property be left unsecured after your departure and before the housekeeper arrives. Some properties can not be secured from the inside. Thank you very much for your comments. Lahaina Island Accommodations strives to provide the perfect vacation experience for our guests. Your comments are taken seriously and help us in our effort for continuous improvement and 100% guest satisfaction. -

The property was in a great location, with a park on one side and Times Square just a short walk away - close enough to the night life to be able to walk home and far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet when we wanted it most. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
We were a little perplexed about checking in at 3 p.m., which is an hour after the rental company closed for the day. Fortunately, we got there early enough to be able to talk to the representatives, who were very helpful and friendly. The free video rental was a big hit.
I would highly recommend this property to others. It was one of the most fun and relaxing vacations I've had in quite some time and I hope that we will be able to return at some point in the future. -

In general we very much enjoyed the condo, the
location and the amenities. The condo was very
nicely decorated and we all felt that it was very
cozy in a vacation cottage sort of way. The large
lanai was the best feature. We also enjoyed the
beautiful artwork throughout. We liked that the
condo was in a quiet setting.
The bbq area was nice but the pits were the pits.
It would be nice to have a gas grill.
The one thing we really didn't like was the
discrepancy between the advertised price of $815
and the actual price of over $1,000. The cleaning
fee was not nice. We think you should just say
upfront what the actual price is.
In general though we will probably return sometime. -

I found this rental online and could not be happier about how our vacation turned out. Vacation Villas 1-233 is a beautifully decorated, spacious home with an incredible view of the Gulf. It has a screened in porch, lanai, that acts as another room. You can leave the sliding doors open and hear the waves crash into the shore. No bugs!! It is nice and quiet as it is right at the end of Estero Road, away from all the traffic but close enough to walk and enjoy all the amenities. There is a beautiful park next to it where you can walk along the beach, we saw 2 dolphins right off the shore! The pictures online are exactly what it looks like, no surprises!
We got there on the weekend but our package for the rental was ready for us in the lock box with information and the keys. The unit was clean and ready to go.
We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone, with or without children. It was paradise.
