I love the location of the cottages (walking distance to the pier). The cottage has a two car garage and extra parking space for other guests. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need for a long stay. Over-sided beach towels are provided in each cottage. The laundry is also conveniently located in the garage. My favorite thing about the cottages of paradise point is the pet-friendliness!

The cottage was comfortable, nicely decorated and furnished, meticulously clean and stocked with all amenities. It is obvious that Dennis, the owner, is especially attentive to guest needs, adding thoughtful details that include toys and lounge chairs for the quiet, gorgeous beach.
The location was fantastic. You are just a short walk or drive away from a myriad of parks, shopping, activities and attractions. There is something for everyone.
The hospitality we received from Dennis and his family surpassed any I've experienced. They truly treated us like family, meeting all of our needs, offering helpful advice when it came to choosing from all of the wonderful restaurants and sites and making us feel very welcome and at home. It was a great place to stay for the holidays, but I can't wait to go back anytime.

Stayed for 10 days and wished it could have been much longer. The cottage (we were in Mermaid) was clean, comfortable and very well decorated. Nothing else like it on the beach. The location is perfect in that you are in close walking distance to Times Square but not living in the big crowds. If you're lucky enough to be there when the owner is there, he is an incredibly welcoming host. Rental agency was easy to deal with, very professional and service oriented. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The beach is gorgeous and lounge chairs comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better location or vacation.

We stayed at the mermaid cottage a few days after New years. It was one of the best Florida faction we had. Not only was the weather good, but the cottage was great. Tastefully decorated and so comfy! It feels like you are in a gated beach front compound. The beach is so close, you can enjoy it from the kitchen table. I highly recommend the cottages of paradise point!

I stayed in the Mermaid Cottage at Paradise Point last week and will return again. This charming, fully furnished cottage had all the comforts at hand. The beach is sugar white, the water clear and cool. The surrounding area of Ft. Myers Beach is a delight with many one-of-a-kind restaurants, shops and convenient, walkable venues. It also is an short drive to take the ferry to the Keys, visit the Everglades and other points of interest in SW Florida.
It'ss easy to see why folks come back year after year. Dennis and Sharon are on site and readily available to answer questions, give directions or to replace a light bulb.Response from Dennis Greenspon - 02/01/2013

What beautiful place! We tried the west coast for the first time after always spending time on the east coast. Picking a place to stay via the computer always makes me a little nervous but after speaking to the owner I felt really good about it and was not disappointed! The cottages are perfectly represented on the their web site. (so check it out)My picture from the deck looked exactly like theirs!The Mermaid Cottage was first class all the way! The cottages and grounds are very well kept. Sharon was great at answering any questions and making suggestions on things to do. The location is close to anything you could possibly need ...yet far enough away to be private and relaxing. While we were there a storm was brewing which made the water a little murky but other than that... the beach was beautiful and just steps away !

I accompanied my best friend, her mom, God-daughter, and her friend on a 4 night get away to Fort Myers. When I crossed the bridge to our little vacation town the ocean was the first thing I saw. The view was beautiful. Our cottage was so cute, spacious, and quaint. We had everything we needed. The bed linens, towels, untensils, and BBQ were clean and presentable. I stay in hotels alot and some extended stay pots and pans and towels are not made of good quality. Everything was just right. They even had beach towels by the door in a cute little basket. Not to mention the beach theme througout the house. I slept on the pull out bed in the living room. It was pretty comfortable.
The view from the cottage was breath taking. We sat on the deck every morning and drank our coffee as we listened to the waves. The cottages provided beach chairs and umbrellas. All amenities were walking distance so you don't have to rent a car. I can't think of a more relaxing and lovely place to stay. There was no loud noise and the environment was kid friendly.
We're planning to return for the Holidays! -

My family and I had the pleasure of spending a week in the Mermaid Cottage. This was the perfect home away from home. Beautifully decorated and fully furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could think of and then some. Everything from the linens to the flatware, to the cookware and beyond are of the finest quality. You don't even have to pack your beach towels, they provide those also. Morning coffee on the spacious deck looking over the gulf, afternoons spent relaxing on the beach and evening walks and shell collecting when the tide goes out. A few blocks from shopping and dining. Can't wait to spend another vacation in Paradise.

We loved our stay. Beautiful, relaxing & fun! The cottage was adorable and filled with everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. The cottages are conveniently located near the fun of the restaurants and shopping at Time Square yet sits back where it was peaceful and relaxing. The beach is steps from the cottage. The view of the ocean is incredible! We will be back again! Our new favorite spot!

My wife and I where pleasantly surprised on how well maintained and clean this cottage was. It had every kitchen utensil you could think of, and some I had no idea what they where used for.
The beach was the best beach I have seen in Florida.
We are planning to return next year. -

We had the privilege of staying the the Mermaid Cottage for 4 days. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever been on. Our daughter and 2 granddaughters enjoyed the beautiful beach and wonderful pool. The cabin was as beautiful as the picture on the website. Will go back this year if at all possible. The Mermaid is high-end cottage that makes everyone feel like they're at home. The decoration is perfect, appliances great, kitchen fully equiped, beds way more comfortable than my own, linens top notch, fabulous deck (day and night, the pool so handy, and the best part, location, location, location - right on the beach including beach chairs and breath-taking sunsets.

I have now rented this cottage for several years around the same time each year. It is one of the nicest cottages in terms of layout,space and decor. The attention to detail is impecable including the landscaping, everywhere you look there is something to admire. The new deck this year has also provided more space to enjoy the view of the Gulf directly from the cottage for the whole family.

The Mermaid cottage is just perfect! I have stayed at many beach condo's and this was a welcome change!No crowded elevators...parking right at your own cottage and relaxing just steps from the beach!! Cottage was spotless! Well equiped kitchen...we will be coming back for sure!

Pulling into the common drive between the cottages at paradise point, we were taken with the surrounding of landscaping, perfectly pastel cottages and the beach view. Upon entering the Mermaid Cottage, the joy continued. The cottage is decorated and supplied perfectly for a family staying at the beach. From linens on wonderful beds to dishes and every cooking utensil imaginable in the kitchen, even cottage color coordinated beach towels! You only need to bring sunscreen and your swimsuit. We had a problem with our t.v. and Ron, the "super" was there on the double to fix it. Each cottage is an easy walk to the beach where lounge chairs are there for your use. Sunsets are glorious in Ft. Myers Beach! And such a short walk to Times Square and the shopping and restaurants there! We were lucky enough to enjoy the Shrimp Festival during our stay! Go to Heavenly Biscuit for breakfast one day for sure and we enjoyed our dinners at The Fish Monger and Nervous Nellies too!
I would definitely recommend The Cottages for a beach vacation! We will be back for sure!

We have spent our vacation in the Mermaid Cottage and are returning this year for another 5 weeks. A great place to enjoy all Fort Myers Beach has to offer. Wonderfully decorated, clean, and complete with anything you could possibly need.
The location of the cottage is wonderful. A few feet from the beach that make walking a pleasure. Also, an easy walk on new sidewalks leading to the town square where shopping is wonderful! The service is wonderful...if there was a problem it was taken care of immediately. What more could anyone on vacation ask?
