It has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, dishes/glasses/pots/pans/etc., crock pot. Other amenities include new Flatscreen TV, cable TV with DVD player, telephone in living area and master bdrm, charcoal BBQ, patio furniture on deck, two decks, outside shower. House is tired and need of major updating.We experinced some issues-one which could have been major;
hOSE on washing machine burst.Machine was not on!!
thannfully we were home or entire house could have flooded and certainly would have.
Overall a good experince.Price of rental needs to be in line with condition of house-regardless of location which was excellent. -

My husband and I were married on the beach, directly behind our rental, in November of 2010. We rented the 4 bedroom house next door too, and had family and friends from 5 different states, plus our 2 dogs. The dog friendly beach really sold it for me! We live in Florida, but everyone staying with us was from different parts of the country, ages 18 mos -79 yrs. Judith provided me with a contact for Happy Baby Rentals, who delivered the crib & high chair we needed. Bike and scooter rentals are available nearby, the trolley goes back and forth to town, and if you forget your bathing suit you can buy one in the square. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the first night we ordered pizza delivered. Judith and Ron conveniently have menus at each house for takeout.
We thought people would go out to eat & explore, but no one wanted to leave the gorgeous beach!! We didn't need a thing, except some food from the nearby Publix grocery store. We had coolers, grills, beach chairs, towels, games, dishes & cooking utensils for at least 20 people in each house. My nieces and nephew went parasailing from the Holiday Inn a mile down the road.
Ron and Judith were really helpful prior to the wedding, were there when we arrived and stopped by during the week to check on us. They gave us a reference for our wedding photographer, Charles Hester, and we couldn't be happier with the photos, or with Charles and his knowledge, calm demeanor and experience in taking sunset photos. The local Publix made our cake (beautiful and delicious), Lori Wolfe Florist was a walk from where we stayed (beautiful flowers!), and everyone is still talking about what a wonderful time they had. My sister cried when she left, and I only wish we could do it over every year!!! Hopefully, we will be able to do a family reunion there some day soon.

We stayed at this house with 4 couples total and had a blast! Plenty of space, large kitchen, and directly on the beach with beautiful views. I would love to stay here again!! Perfect for couples or families.

We loved this property! A great home for families, very spacious and comfortable. with the beach being right outside your front door it made it so much easier to keep an eye on all the kids. The view was amazing and the management was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

5268 Estero was a very nice home. Everything was clean from the bedrooms to the kitchen cabinets. It was very homey. The property managers were accessible if needed. The pool was clean and well cared for. The carpet looks like it could use a cleaning, but that's not a big deal. There were lots of great restaurants and shopping within a five mile radius. The beach was relatively clean and there were lots of shells to find. We were unaware of the sea turtle curfew at dark which caught us by surprise, but that also was not a big deal. As condos go, I would rate 5268 Estero an 8.5 to 9. It was very nice.

This was a great beach house - roomy and accommodating. The beach location was awesome too! Enjoyed all aspects. Couple of things that need help - Master bath shower - way too narrow and it leaks water all over the ceramic floor regardless of the curtain. The downstairs bath shower head - was awful - no water pressure hardly. The kitchen sink leaked under all over stored products - smelled awful like it wasn't the first time. Phone didn't work - internet wireless - strongly recommended. All said, I would still consider staying there again!

Thank-you for comments. After you left, I lowered the shower curtain & replaced the shower head downstairs. Sometimes there is more than one problem and that sink was no exception. So far, we have replaced the faucet, the shut-off valve, the strainer and parts of the drain, so hopefully no more leaks. The phone has also been repaired by Embarq. When you come back, please let me know when you discover a problem so it can be addressed immediately. There is high speed internet in all of our homes, most have WiFi and we are working on the rest.

The location is fantastic. Access to a pool, the gulf, sand with shopping near by. Private and quiet. The homes have plenty of room for our family of 10. Will be returning for another year, that is for sure.
First visit to FMB was 35 years ago and we still enjoy going back. -

Since this was going to be the first family reunion in 20 years we needed a big house that slept at least 10 people.We got it,Ron found us the perfect house on the beach in Ft.Myers.This house had everything you could possibly need and want,including a pool.
We had such a great time that we are going back.This year to a smaller house (no pool)on the beach for 2 weeks.
The people at Sun Palace have made life long guest out of us. -

We stayed with a group of close friends and had a fabulous time. Being so
close to the beach, it was very easy to watch the guys fish, or just lay out in
the water. Very pet friendly. We will be back!!
