We had a wonderful time when we spent the week at the house. We had 13 in our party with 4 seperate families. The location is perfect-so close to the beach but away from the mosquitoes. The house was wonderful We really liked the layout which gave us all privacy. We really enjoyed the pool and patio area. Our only negative was getting the screen repaired in the pool area. We called about it the first day but it didn't get fixed until the day we checked out.The mosquitoes are big in Florida so the screened in pool area is wonderful. They were great about getting us new beach chairs and working on the air conditioning. It was wonderful to have everything there . You can literally leave your house with only your bathing suit and have a wonderful time. It is the perfect vacation house and we plan to return again.
Great spot-lots of room-kitchen needs help

Beach across street. Great pool in center of house. Plenty of room and bedroom space. We had 16 people for Christmas. The only issue was the kitchen. Cooking for 16 people was a challenge. Tiny oven that could barely accommodate the turkey. Lacking pots/pans etc. If kitchen was updated it would be perfect.
Perfect multi-generation vacation home!

Eleven family members - from grandparents to preschoolers - spent a week in early January, 2012 in Sun Palace. It was a perfect layout. One three-bedroom, two-bath wing housed grandparents, parents and two preschoolers. The other three-bedroom, three-bath wing slept two couples, with a single up in the upstairs bedroom. There was plenty of room to gather in the kitchen/family room area, and we all sat comfortably at the dining room table. The pool area had more tables for seating and a gas grill, and the pool itself was great. We swam every day. Because of the heat pump, the water is warmer on warmer days, but we used the cover every night so it was quite comfortable even on a day in the mid-50s. The house has all you would need for the beach - coolers, chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. You just cross the street, go past a couple of houses and you're there! The grocery store is less than a mile away too. We thought the location was so convenient! The owners were quick to answer the few questions we had, and the house was clean and well-furnished with towels and kitchen items. Having two refrigerators was key for our large group. I recommend Sun Palace in every way, and hope to return again soon.
Great house for alot of families.

Everything was great, would recommend to anyone. My only issue is the security, comming in through the back pool area is not secure anyone could get through the screens and patio doors. Read more
Glad to hear you had a great time and thank-you for responding. The screened in lanai is designed to keep bugs out. The main security function of screen doors is that the latch is set at approx. 60” so it is out of reach of small children. The sliding patio doors all have the best locks available.

I am glad you created this opportunity for me to respond. I have been meaning to write a note to say thank you and how much we enjoyed our stay at your rental home. Enjoyed meeting Ron. He was extremely nice and helpful. The house was perfect for our family. Big enough for everyone to have some privacy, yet open enough for all of us to eat together and play games in the den and just all hang out together and watch a movie . The location was great, easy to get to the beach and easy to get to a ramp to put our jet skiis in the water. We really enjoyed all the activities available on the strip --- putt putt golf, bowling, renting bikes.
Every year we do a family vacation which our kids have named "Free Family Fun". We pick a different destination each year. Often times there are alot of activities and excursions planned. Everyone commented on how fun and relaxing this vacation was.
Thank you. We had a wonderful stay. We will think of you in the future if we choose to do another "relaxing, laid back" vacation.

Our family of 16 loved staying at Sun Palace! In fact, to this day, that is the place most talked about. Our daughter and her fiance planned a beach wedding at Fort Myers, and so one day while checking out rentals on the internet, I ran across this house. I spoke to Ron several times on the phone and through email and all our children and families checked out Sun Palace on the website and said YES,lets stay there. And are we glad we did! We even hosted a brunch there the morning after the wedding. Everything was furnished, except food of course, the beach was right across the street, and the pool was occupied most of the time. Ron even stopped in to see how things were going. We are not a family who travels often, but this was by far the best place we could have chosen. The grandchildren had a blast checking out all the rooms, several times, in the house and playing in the ocean. It was a trip that will be remembered as a once in a lifetime experience, and we owe it all to Sun Palace Realty! Thank you so very much. Read more
No, thank you Mary for being such great guests. One of my joys is watching kids explore the six bedrooms in the 4,200 square feet of this house. (We call it the Breadcrumb House, as in Hansel & Gretel.) Last week, one seven year old said to her younger sister “We could have a lot of fun playing Hide & Go Seek here.”
Hope your daughter & son-in-law are doing well.
Thanks & Cheers: Ron.
we had a great time

We liked the lay out of the house for multiple families. We had 3 families and 13 people. Never felt crowded. House is huge! Loved that it was so close to beach (only thing better would have been on the beach!) pool was amazing, opened to the living area and kitchen. So great for hanging out. Perfect house for kids. Lots of pool toys, games, etc. lots of room to play. House was clean and well stocked.

We couldn't have found a better place for our large family. It made our vacation a great one and an experience we will try to repeat as soon as we can. Thanks for the wonderful week in June of 08. Suzanne and Thomas Copps

We loved the house we stayed in at Fort Myers Beach. With a party of 14 the house accommodated all of us with room to spare. The double kitchens, extra livings and spacious bedrooms please everyone! The pool was perfect and we were only 30 seconds from the beach. There wasn't anything this house was missing. I would definately recommend this anyone who is looking for a nice, casual, spacious beach house only seconds from the beach. None of us wanted to leave!!

We stayed at the Sun Palace with our entire family from Montana. Everyone loved this home. It is large enough to accommodate a large group and still have privacy. The beach was just a short perfect walk away and there were enough beach towels for all. The house is very well stocked with all you need to get started and then the grocery store is also very close.
Ron and Judy were the people that we dealt with and they were wonderful and very helpful and also friendly and welcoming.
We really had not much to complain about.
Just had a wonderful week and would definately stay here again. We especially loved the fact that this place was pet friendly and that the dogs were also allowed on their leashes at the beach.
Thanks again "Ron and Judith"
