Left on 06/15/2012 for a stay in February 2011
We stayed at the Sunny Side Up for a month in Feb./Mar. of 2011 and it was absolutely perfect. We brought our small dogs with us and the yard is completely fenced in and safe for pets as well as small children. The house is very spacious, comfortable and has everything you could imagine...just like home. Very convenient!!! The pool was really nice and the beach is always beautiful and only a few steps away. We love the area, love the house, and love the people at Sun Palace Vacations. Thanks again, Greg, Pam and Family :))

We had five adults in this house for 1 week. The bedroom and bath arrangement worked very well. Location was terrific -- 1 1/2 blocks to the very nice beach. Comfortable home.
When we arrived one toilet was not functioning correctly and that was fixed within one hour -- great service! -

My husband, our daughter, a mutual friend, and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunny Side Up. It was close enough to the beach when we wanted to go, but in a nice quiet neighborhood during the evening. The accommodations were great. We each had our own rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with anything that you might need, even Saran Wrap. I love that. It's nice to go someplace where you don't have to buy every little thing that you may only need once. We enjoyed the pool the most. We spent several hours in the morning and before bedtime in it. It was just the right size. I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. Before we started the company, Judith & I found that staying in a rental house with no supplies was very annoying & expensive (it still is) so we decided to include a lot of supplies like plastic wrap, all soaps (laundry, dish, dishwasher and hand soap) and starters of paper products. It is a big hit guests often comment on the convenience. All of our properties are very well equipped.
Thanks again for staying with us & hope to see you next year.
Cheers: Ron.

We would like to say that Sunny Side up could not have been anymore Perfect than what it is. Everything was within walking distance and the beaches were great along with the weather. ron and his staff are the best. the house was ready and perfect for my wife and kids. the street is quiet and the locals are really nice. If u have kids and want to rent the sunnyside up its just perfect. Local attractions are awsome too like the pieces of 8 pirate cruise and its not too expensive. We will definetly be returning soon cause the sunnyside up is a real treat and very close to the beach. The house has everything you and your family need all you need is clothes. but please leave it how you found it so others can enjoy this amazing place like my family did. thanks a bunch Jack and Jennifer Bridges

Manager
Thank-you Jack & Jennifer for the endorsement. We aim for perfect (or better) so I am glad you and your family had a great time. Sunny Side Up is very popular for all of the reasons you mentioned, plus it is walking distance to the pier and "downtown". Hope to see you again.
Cheers: Ron.

Franklin, TNThe perfect, peaceful home away from home!
Left on 07/23/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Sunny Side Up is the perfect vacation home, providing all your needs. Well stocked with kitchen essentials (toaster, coffee pots, dishwasher, disposal, fridge with water and ice maker, dinner ware, both, china and plastic for outdoors, etc), beach gear (towels, noodles, coolers, pulley cart, etc), washer and dryer with detergent among other amenities. It is clean, I repeat clean which is very nice considering some of the other rentals we've stayed in. Living area is very roomy and warm. The bathrooms were nice and spacious as well. With the beach walking distance, the screened in pool is perfect for relaxing and staying sand free. The local grocery is a stone's throw which makes cooking and any spontaneous needs a plus. The management team was great and made the stay that much more relaxing. Sunny Side Up is the place to be... we'd definitely go back!

We had a great time. I have a suggestion...We all thought it would be fun for all the guests to paint their own lizzard on the pillar in the pool area. People can sign and date their stay. The best fireworks we have ever seen on the beach. Top O Mast rum runners the best!
Response from Sun Palace Vacations - 08/27/2009
Manager
Thank-you Jill for your suggestion. For those that have not stayed at Sunny Side Up, Jill is referring to the colorful lizards the owners painted on the pillar. See photo at right. We also find a lot of Top O Mast glasses left in our houses. (Top O Mast is a popular drinking spot an easy walk from the house.)
Cheers: Ron.

Our Sunny Side Up vacation was a positive experience. Plenty of room made you feel right at home. Would suggest umbrellas for porch. Bookking was efficient and we had everything we needed.

Thanks for the suggestion of the umbrella - what a great idea! We will add one.

Being from Indiana, I was looking forward to inviting my adult children to join us for a vacation at my favorite Florida beach. After looking for months, I had decided on renting a house, near the beach, close to town square, at least a 3 bedroom but sleeps 8, and was an upper class place, but at a price that I could live with! Well, I got it plus more! It had a private pool too! My kids loved it. They could take a walk to the beach, to restaurants, town square and come back for a nice swim. We also had the 1 year old grandbaby to keep happy. Amazing how things work out. The walk-in closet in the master bedroom was big enough for her Pack-n-play, so she had her own cozy little bedroom! The master bath had a long area that served as a changing table! The house itself is all one level, so no stairs to worry about the baby falling down. The decks had stairs, and to get to the pool too, but that was no problem. She was never out there by herself! The kitchen was big, open & roomy. Loved the island in the kitchen. I cooked many meals, and used it to line up food buffet style, so everyone could serve themselves. We rent chalets and houses often, and I've never had such a well equipped kitchen! Two bathrooms were a must with that crowd. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths AND beach towels! The bedrooms were very nice. ALL bedding was included. Some places make you bring your own. The fold out sofa in the living room was put to use too. Nice size living room that was open to the kitchen. The dining room table was actually in the living room, but with the open atmosphere was fine. Nice beds and furnishings. Used the gas grill one night for hamburgers. The washer & dryer was a godsend! And located behind doors right at the kitchen area. Great! I would have liked to have this house right on the beach, but then I couldn't have afforded it!It was a very successful family vacation!
