Our detached holiday home is situated in a quiet residential area on Fort Myers Beach, Estero Island, less than 300 yards from the white sandy beach of the warm Gulf waters. The house has four double bedrooms and two bathrooms, and consists of 1,400 square feet of living. Standing on stilts, with a car port below, and a beautiful sun deck, the house is fully furnished to accommodate six guests.

Estero Island is one of the best vacation spots in Florida, boasting the white sands of Fort Myers Beach and the beautiful aqua blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The seven miles of beach attracts thousands of visitors from Germany, France, the UK and the USA each year, but this tropical Island still maintains a cheerful relaxed atmosphere that other more commercialised beach strips on the west coast have lost. Fort Myers beach has a reputation as one of the world's safest beach because of no undertow and shallow water; It's ideal for family bathing, swimming, sun bathing, surf fishing, shelling and the the full seven miles can be walked along the shore line. There are many fabulous restaurants serving fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing, boating, sailing and a whole range of other watersports as well as the spectacular Lovers Key State Park make this a beach vacation paradise.
The Times Square area, at the northern end of Estero Island, is considered the heart of downtown (if you can consider the lively beach village as 'town'!). Full of shops and restaurants, the Times Square area features outdoor dining, street performers and plenty of places to sit down and relax. Nearby the island's 560 foot Fishing Pier and a palm tree lined walkway provide a perfect spot to watch the famous sunsets. In the evenings and weekends, live music draws fun loving crowds.

DISCOUNTS GIVEN FOR LESS THAN 6 PERSONS. Also included is a house membership to the Fort Myers Beach Pool. This very modern facility has a large pool for adults and a kiddie area with slides for you and your children to enjoy unlimited FREE USE! Now included in the house membership is unlimited free access to the Bay Oaks Recreation Campus which is adjacent to the pool. This includes some free use of fascilities plus a reduction on classes which have to be paid for. There is tennis basket ball a weights room, aerobics and zumba and yoga pilates. Also includes art classes. Go check it out!

this was our 5th visit to FMB and our 5th time staying at 118 andre Mar.
this home has everything you could possibly need for your vacation.
They provide:
beach chairs
beach umbrellas
coolers
boogie boards
sand toys
grill
all kitchen items you'll need
washer and dryer
books to borrow
copies of many of the menus and local attractions
4 bedrooms with comfortable beds and linens
large living room with 2 couches and a loveseat,
cable tv, free wifi
kitchen with table, dining room with huge table, large deck with outdoor seating
outdoor shower to rinse off sand after returning from the beach
Reservations are easy to make, communication with the owners is fast and friendly and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The home is half a block from the beach and is located mid-island. Close enough to the busy Times Square area, but far enough from the crowds to enjoy the peace and quiet. -

This was our 4th visit to 118 andre Mar, we cannot fault the accommodation and all our requirements were met. Situated just far enough from the main road to be quiet and safe, the beach is a 2 minute walk, the shops a 2 minute drive, plenty of restaurants to enjoy and plenty of places to visit and explore.
Little touches to make it a home from home include towels, chairs & toys for the beach, plenty of reading material, comfy indoor and outdoor furniture, all electrical appliances. barbeque facilities. Everywhere spotlessly clean and tidy.
Cannot fault it - 5* value -

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at 118 andre Mar Dr, and each time is great! The location is perfect; quiet (away from the traffic), but a very short walk to the Beach. We walk our golden retrievers on the beach every day, so people are always friendly, stopping to talk to us and pet them. Plus, "dog beach" is a short drive away, so they can run and play off-leash. Many times, we see dolphins just off the coast.
The house is spacious, and tasteful, with a great wrap-around deck. The owners are extremely fair, courteous, & prompt. The only thing we don't like about this place is having to leave it. We will definitely be back! -

What an amazing experience, Barbara was sooo gracious and helpful and this place is loaded with amenities and has a fantastic location! They have anything and everything you could need and go above and beyond~ We loved having our morning coffee out on the huge front deck, we adored the friendly feline that made the daily rounds and you are sooo close to the beach it is perfect! What else can I say, book now before all of us re-book again for our next visit!

Had a great stay at 118 andre Mar Drive! The house is very spacious, clean, conveniently located, and has just about everything you'll need. Bought along our 14 month old and found the house very accommodating for everyone with plenty of spare room in the master bedroom for a play-yard. It could easily accommodate two families with enough room to spread out and feel comfortable. Price was more than fair and owners were attentive to our requests and questions. Highly recommended for your stay at Fort Myers Beach!

We have been coming to stay at 118 andre Mar for the past 10 years twice a year so this really does feel home from home. The house is clean, spacious with a real personal touch and a beach feel to it. With its great location being only 2 minutes from the beach its perfect if you have children or just want to sit and watch the beatiful sunsets. With a central island location its pefect for heading out to the bars if you want more of a lively vacation but far enough out if you want some peace and tranquility. Fort Myers Beach has some great restaurants and is only a short drive from Sanibel and Captiva islands which make wonderful days out. Since coming to Fort Myers Beach we have come to think of 118 as our second home and there is no other place we would wish to be and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for their own little piece of paradise.

Excellent house, located close to beach and supermarkets in a quiet neighborhood. Been there several times. You will never run out of beach towels as the house is equipped with everything you will need. The public pool access is a great thing for relaxation. Ac works fine witch is a must if you are traveling in summer season.

We have been to FMB three times (2005, 2008 and again March 26-April 6, 2011). Each time we stayed at 118 andre Mar Drive and we would not dream of staying anywhere else!
Reservations are always easy to make and the owners are most pleasant to deal with.
The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. (full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, stove, pots/pans, dishes for both eating and serving, silverware and glasses. The living room has two big couches, one which pulls out for more sleeping room, a love seat and tv/dvd player. There is also a full size washer and dryer in the house.
Outside is a huge deck where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. Downstairs there is a patio with several lawn chairs and umbrellas. There is a clothes line to hang beach towels when you return from the beach.
The home is located mid-island and is only a few hundred yards from the beach. It is only a mile away from Publix, a full service grocery store, where we bought everything we needed. The beach takes 2 minutes to walk to and the neighborhood is a nice place to take walk around. We love the location because it's far enough from the crowds to feel peaceful, yet close enough to have all the places we wanted to go be only a few minutes away.
We love this home and cannot say enough great things about it. We feel comfortable as soon as we arrive and hate to go home. We will be back and we will always stay at 118 andre Mar! -

We loved this house, it's like a home from home. The house is very comfortable and spacious, and we loved sitting out on the deck in the sun. We'd never been to Fort Myers Beach before (we've visited other resorts on the Florida coastline) but we will definitely return. In particular we were amazed how many things there were to do with our two young children (3 & 6) and lots of them were even free! The street is very quiet and there's a lot of outside space for children to play. The owners are great to deal with - very helpful.
