Great house and pool! We thought the owners did a wonderful job with the updates. The house is very well equipped as well. This is our second year with Universal and the service we received continued to be excellent. Also, everyone we dealt with at Universal were most attentive. Thank you! We enjoyed the pool and setting the most; however, we did find that because the pool faced west, the sun was so strong in the late afternoon that it made it difficult to sit outside around the patio table to have dinner. So we just enjoyed the pool more and ate later!

pool light needs to be fixed & screen enclosure needs some repairs on right side in front. we enjoy the house alot & this was our 3rd year & we are renting next year. would recommend it to anyone. good location & quite neighborhood. we stay for 6 weeks & wish it could be longer.

We had a great time staying at this place. The house was comfortable and equipped with every thing you need to relax and enjoy holiday time. It was situated in a residential neighborhood that was also quite, safe and well-kept. Honestly, seldom did we have such a nice accommodation on holiday. The check-in was as easy and fast as I can imagine. So, in sum, we can really recommend this place to everybody - young and older couples, families or friends who travelle together. Everybody will probably have a good time - at least! :-)

The house is located in a quiet area that has good sidewalks for walking. The grocery store was convenient. As we first entered the house we were pleasantly surprised by the large great room and kitchen. The house was nicely furnished. The the flat screen tv was great, but we suggest you provide instructions on the use of the 3 controllers. The kitchen was well equipped, however the oven would not turn on. It indicated there was a lock on. We were surprised that we had to purchase bar soap and toilet paper. We were disappointed that the grill available was so tiny and in poor condition. We would suggest that the owners consider replacing the mattress in the master bedroom. After the first night of less than restful sleep we flipped the mattress. This did not solve the problem. Since we had come for rest and relaxation, we were disappointed with our accomdations.

The home exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and open plan and very tastefully furnished. It was equipped with everything we needed to fufill our needs. The villa was less than 5mins from a supermarket and places to eat and about 10mins to Ft Myers beach. The pool area was large and with lovely views over a lake.

No-one to greet us or explain fundamentals, such as keypad door operation; washing machine and dryer usage or location of re-cycling waste for collection.
It would also have been nice to know that you had to provide your own soap, toilet paper, kitchen towels and other basics, before arriving.
Beds were a little uncomfortable and well used.
Apart from this, we really enjoyed the stay and would certainly consider doing it again.

Great location for a holiday home near the beaches and also nice and close to the shops to pick up supplies, lovely quiet location backing onto the lake,
the staff at uni vacations are always helpfull and we have booked again for march 2012 -

It was a pleasure dealing with Universal vacations. They made it so easy when we had to check in. We arrived extremely late in the night and we had received instructions in a lockbox in obtaining access to the property. When we finally arrived at the property we were happy to see that it was nice and clean. The next day we went to check in and it was fairly late in the day. We had not been hounded to come in to check in earlier and pay our balance. Universal vacations made booking and check out very easy and we really appreciated that.
Our favourite restaurant was Bonefish and our least favourite restaurant was Cheesecake factory (a real disappointment on New Year's Eve
The shopping was excellent. We enjoyed shopping @ the outlet malls ...such good deals.
Overall our experience was very good and would hope to book through Universal Vacations on future trips. -

I need not have worried. We arrived at the rental office at 2200hrs after a 3hr drive from Orlando International airport. The keys to our property were exactly where we were told they would be !!. Clear instuctions attached enabled us to quickly locate our property. The house was excellent and in a truely stunning location overlooking a lake. No need for alarms/security bars across the patio doors as the area was quiet and the neighbours very friendly. Universal Vacations allowed us to register (req by law) at a time and place that was suitable to us, clearly demonstrating their professional customer focus. We had an outstanding time whilst at this property, excellent nearby beaches, Islands of Sanibel and Captiva only a short drive away. If you want to be more adventurous then why not go kyaking in the Everglades !!.

We stayed in Ft. Myers with my wife and my twins for 18 days, and it was very nice vacation. The house is in good condition, and well equiped. Swimmingpool should be cleand often.

We stayed at this property over the holidays and absolutely loved it! While we appreciated many of the amenities provided, we must be honest and admit that we do feel the home could have been cleaner (cobwebs in the living room, hair in the bathrooms, and crumbs in the kitchen cabinets/drawers) and shouldn't have had ripped screen panels on the pool cage. These issues should have been noted and addressed prior to guest arrival. Other than that, this is a phenomenal vacation home with beautiful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We definitely see ourselves returning here year after year provided the house is better prepared and maintained for guests next time we visit.

The house was fantastic - exactly what we needed to unwind and relax after Disney. In a small community, the neighbours were friendly.
Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach are lovely locations and the amenitites are great. The Publix at the bottom of the street was great, as was the array of restaurant and take-away menus in the house.
We will definitely be back - although the writings in the guest book worried me a little as they referred to an Alligator in the lake. We did not spot anything, but it did worry me.

This was a great rental. House was nicely furnished. Pool was great, loved the view of the water. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only minutes away to Sanibel Island. Hated to leave!
