Villa very nice, would have liked pool heating on before arrival and option to pay for extra days or off for last 2 days. Location excellent in a very quite neighborhood. Would have helped, initially to have a few instructions - took us a while to work out how to open and close garage door, and would have been nice to be aware the pool is "visited" once a week, John was very nice but nearly got shouted at on his first visit. Master bedroom really luxurious. Appreciated quantity of towels and sun loungers by pool. We will be booking again, for February/March 2014.

This rental and our experience here was just, "OK". The interaction with Universal was a little odd and felt a little "cheap". For example, even though we did not require any physical keys to enter the unit, we were still required to come to the Universal office to retrieve paperwork which could have easily been emailed to us prior to our arrival. This after traveling all day to Fort Myers and arriving after 6PM. Additionally, when we entered the unit we discovered, to our surprise, we would not be provided with either a physical key not a garage door opener! The reason given was, "people walk off with them" which, to me, was nonsense as, even though that fact was probably accurate, so what? A new opener is maybe $30 and we have a deposit filed. Seemed very cheap even though just a small thing. We ended up spending our own time and money to buy one for our use. Unit was nice if a bit over priced. One note in this specific unit, be aware a close neighbor to the home in the community has a particular 'bone to pick' with "renters" and seems to have no better use of his time than to monitor renters and call them on any perceived transgressions or non adherence to the rules. Harmless but amazing and annoying...:)

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you only felt your stay was OK and you feel it necessary to call Universal “Cheap†I so sorry you had to come to the office to register, this is actually State law, we are just abiding by the rules, although the distance from the house to the office is only 2 miles. We do not supply a key, as the house does not have any locks, you have a code to gain access. The garage remote, Yes you are correct, we do not supply them as they tend to get left in rental cars, Look at it this way, a 1 minute exercise to go and open the garage door will not hurt anyone. With regard to the neighbor, From my recollection the neighbors left a note requesting you close the garage door, which you seemed to have left open all day, Then I believe you started a confrontation with them. In closing I would like to add that our staff have bent over backwards to assist you in countless emails both prior to and whilst in residence, I truly believe you need to book a resort in future

We stayed the first time in Florida / Fort Myers and our House was very nice, it was really big, very clean, the pool was fantastic the rooms were big and with very good furniture.
The area around the house was a really relaxing zone.
We are sure that we will come back again.
The best thing was the weather...

We enjoyed the house very much, and appreciated being able to use beach chairs etc occasionally. The kitchen was well equipped.
The only suggestion we would make is to rearrange living room furniture, so that you can access the pool area easier and have it more open. -

This home was advertised as a 4BR home but it only has 3BR. While that mischaracterture was not a problem for us (we were two couples)it might be for a family who actually requires 4BR. The home is very convenient to shopping. The beaches are a little ways away but that was not a problem. It was very clean and well equiped.

I had never such a nice welcome in my life. The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and very very compentent. The home was clean, big and in a wonderful housing area. All in all a perfect stay! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay,the only thing we would have done was to have the pool heated as we were unable to use due to weather, but that is not Universals fault. I would tell friends about this and would return.thank you. House was clean and comfortable.
Universal employee was very pleasant and curtious.
The location is not bad, fairly close to beach and a nice neighborhood. -

We had a lovely stay in this home -- very comfortable, well maintained, and expertly serviced by the administrator. Arrival and departure could't have been easier, and with our two-year-old in tow, we found this to be a much more convenient and relaxing stay than we ever would have had in a hotel, even if we could have found one with a suite.
