The azure is a great location for family vacations. We've been back for 3 consecutive years.Condo 408 was well equipped. Great view from 4th floor overlooking the Gulf and swimming pools. Walking distance to restaurants.Adequate workout area @ the azure.Shopping close by.
Room prepared upon arrival. Followup call from Southern Vacation Rentals. I will only rent through Southern.
Only disappointment was that the door from lobby of the azure to swimming pool was not functional for entire week. Not good for me with bad back.
We will be back in 2013 and stay @ the azure. -

We had a wonderful vacation. We rented 2 condos 408 & 422 both extremely clean and very nice. We loved the area the dean beaches and pools. I would recommend the azure to everyone.

The unit was beautiful, clean and spacious. We loved the beach-front location and the balcony overlooking the water. There are stores close by for groceries, etc. It is a short drive to the Destin Harbor area, which was really great. The beach was beautiful, although there was algae in the water when we were there, which we weren't fond of. The pools were very nice. One strange thing was the parking garage. We have a mini van and when we drove up the ramps to get to the various levels, there was barely enough room for the roof of the van to clear the ceiling on the ramp. The clearance was only about 6'4". Then, when we drove down the steep ramps, the underside of the van would hit the concrete very badly. We began going down the ramps at a sharp diagonal, crossing from one side to the other as we went down, and that helped, as long as no one else was coming up the ramp. If you drive a tall vehicle or have a carrier on top, you won't be able to get up or down the ramp. If your vehicle rides low, you will have to go down the ramps on a diagonal. There were a number of Suvs parked on the first level. They should warn people of this in advance. The only other slight criticism would be that there didn't seem to be quite enough towels. Next time we visit, we will probably bring some extras. Overall, we had a great time and were very happy we stayed there. We will stay there again if we vacation in this area in the future.

We found the unit to be even better than the pictures showed, and loved the view front our very large ocean front balcony.
The sand was snow white, but the beach props end there. The ocean was the worst we've ever seen with seaweed, and the slope of the beach made it almost impossible to walk or sit on, so we had to walk on the very soft sand, and that was hard to do with the sinking of your feet.
If we could take the condo, and the white sand to the east coast, perfect. -

Loved the condo and beach with the complimentary beach side service. Tile floors were great for sandy beach. The unit was very nice and updated with great kitchen appliances and granite countertops. Bathrooms, especially the master bathroom, were very comfortable and spacious.
We walked over to Southern Resorts office and reported that there was a beeping sound in the master bedroom that sounded like an alarm during the day. Also, the dryer was making very loud noises. Was told that someone would repair these two issues. No one every came to make the repairs. Unhappy about the service from Southern Resorts. This was reported early enough in the week for someone to have time to make these maintenance repairs. No follow up was every done.
Maintenance at the overall resort was remarkable. The outside floors were sprayed down, vacuuming of area rugs in common areas was done several times a day, landscaping, and cleaning of pool area was a daily event. Staff was always cleaning and did a fabulous job! -

This was our first trip to the beach in many years. Liked the beach OK but was totally disappointed that the weather was still so hot. Had issues with the TV remotes which wouldn't work in the living room and master bedroom. Service folks came out on second day and made adjustments. Phones didn't work first day and were still not working when we left.

highly recommend the unit, had issues with refrigerator as it would not keep food cold during the week but did not effect our stay, will be back next year.

Staying at the Azure was a wonderful, relaxing time! The condo and grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. My family enjoyed a relaxing week with plenty of local restaurants to choose from. We will definately stay again in the future. My favorite part was looking out at the Gulf of Mexico while eating on the deck. The only thing that turned out to be a slight glich was that there were not the appropriate numbers by the afterhours box to punch in to receive our room code. Luckily there was an agent on duty at the office, but I could see how if someone arrived late at night that this could potentially be a problem.
